Since the Harry Potter franchise has now moved beyond just Harry's story with the Fantastic beasts series getting started last year. This subforums title should be changed to the Wizarding world or J.K. Rowling's Wizarding world, or something like that.
Thoughts?

Sure, I don't really care. Calling it Harry Potter is good because most people knows what that is - but then again let's respect the one franchise that actually tried and successfully made a spinoff that can stand and hold up purely on its own merits.

I think keeping "Harry Potter" is just fine. It's the originating series and everything else exists in its universe. The only other logical alternate would be something along the lines of Potterverse, but that's a bit silly.

Like Star Wars, it doesn't matter how many spin offs they ever do, it will always be known as Star Wars. Just look how quickly the Prometheus sequel was renamed to Alien Covenant to maintain the power of the brand.
Harry Potter should be the name of the forum and there is no serious debate to be had.

I guess you're right about that.

Egh, Harry Potter seems like the buzzword for all things Rowling related. I think people can manage.

I'm fine with "Harry Potter" as a catch-all for the reasons people stated but wouldn't be opposed to changing the language to a more inclusive-sounding title, such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which implies discussion about all things even peripherally related.
