I've only seen the following movies:
Niagara
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
How to Marry a Millionaire
There's No Business Like Show Business
The Prince and the Showgirl
Some Like It Hot
I think she looked the best in The Prince and the Showgirl. But my favorite movie from that list is Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. I think Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is the funniest movie from that list and it also had Monroe's iconic performance of Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend. |

Seen everything from Don't Bother to Knock onward, but none for a long while. Favorite would be her final film, The Misfits.

niagara (1953) for lead,
but not being much of a comedy / musical watcher, prefer the pre stardom movies, all about eve (1950), the asphalt jungle (1950), clash by night (1952), in which she had minor roles.
Her first leading role was in a second feature programmer ladies of the chorus (1948) as a burlesque performer. Worth seeing for an early glimpse and it's a watchable backstage musical drama.

NIAGARA and THE RIVER OF NO RETURN are the only two I like, but hovering around 8/10.
The others I've seen, which I won't name, are all dull 3/10 or 4/10 bits. Not horrible, but strained, unimaginative, and very boring.
