i think people put it on a pedastal cause its mature and R rated, ive seen better films that explore a character, just not feeling it for this film , i prefered Days of future past , perhaps i need to watch it again What do you like about Days of future Past? just seemed faster paced , lots more going on , more characters that i liked and enjoyed seeing , felt a bit isolated Logan, like i said, perhaps i need to watch it again, or perhaps im all loganed out if you know what i mean

The purpose of the isolation is that it was only about Logan, the father/daughter relationship, and the father/son relationship, and that was the only target. That's exactly why the villain wasn't some big bad. It just wasn't the point, and the reason they did 24, was Logan killing himself, or dying of his own accord, making his own choice, etc.

I think you should be open to watching it again. It really grew on me with repeat viewings. I now consider it a top ten all time CBM.
I got a lot more out of it the second time, especially in regard to Logan/Xavier. Watching their dialogue in act one again knowing the truth about what the professor did to the X Men reveals just how great the writing is. The cinematography is also absolutely ace. One of the best looking CBMs ever made.

Where Deadpool is the raunchiest, Logan is certainly the darkest comic book movie ever made IMO. And unfortunately, that kind of makes it hard to enjoy. BUT that also makes it far easier to respect than say... Age of Ultron.

All CBMs don't have to be the same thing to be good.

Age of Ultron is a MESS of storytelling. One minute, the twins meet a giant, menacing robot and in the next minute, they're talking to it like they're best friends. WTF is that?? Why is Tony never really held responsible for creating Ultron? And having said that, why the fck does Ultron seem weaker than Loki and the Jetauri (sp?)??

Did we really need to see that happen to get it? Tony wasn't held responsible because there was no oversight hence the accords story you might have heard about. Who said Ultron was stronger than Loki?

Ultron was awesome?? That shows what you look for in a comic book movie. LMAO. He contacted the twins but they didn't know he was a robot. There was absolutely no apprehension when they start opening up to him, crying over their losses like characters in a silly soap opera.

Ultron was a laughable villain. He was too watered down to keep this movie kidfriendly. The real one was a homocidal psychopath with a god complex.
