We already did the Catwoman vs. Elektra, now it's time for the guys: Ghost Rider vs. Batman and Robin - which movie was worse? For the sake of brevity, let's limit this to just the first Ghost Rider movie.

In terms of quality, B&R is way worse. In terms of enjoyment, Ghost Rider is worse. In terms of being disappointing due to the pedigree of the character (at least as far as comic books go), B&R was worse.

Batman & Robin is bad, but you can laugh at it (at times), but Ghost Rider......I mean........it has no semblance of a personality, nothing about it is memorable, I'd watch Ang Lee's Hulk before I'd watch Ghost Rider again.

depends on one's definition of worse. Batman&Robin is so bad, it's fun again (Mr Freeze: "Woad keeled da dainosours - zee eyz age!"); it's a movie exclusively for people not ashamed of comic books. An iconic testament of awful.
Ghost Rider I was never even able to finish, totally forgettable...

Batman and Robin is worse...but part of me is ok with that because it's exactly what the studio wanted it to be. They wanted Batman and Robin to be a throwback to the Adam West era and more kid friendly than Burtons darker tones.
Ghost Rider wasn't that bad. Wasn't that good, but still watchable.

Both are on my top ten worst movies. But I'll concede that Batman & Robin has this goofy entertainment value to it. Ghost Rider is just like that kid in high school who was dumb and obnoxious but thought to themselves they were the coolest baddest mofo in the room.

Can't pick one. They're both equally bad.

Batman & Robin, its not contest. Thank you. Can't believe this is even being debated. If we're talking about the spirit of vengeance sequel... maybe... maybe.

Batman & Robin, its not contest. Thank you. Can't believe this is even being debated. If we're talking about the spirit of vengeance sequel... maybe... maybe. I don't know, Spirit of Vengeance seemed like a "so-what?" type of flick from the get-go - Sequel / reboot to a Nic Cage led superhero movie that did anything but impress? Who cares...If anything, SOV at least was trying to be a grindhouse styled flick which is what the first should've strived for anyway but both movies were beyond lame at the end of the day. At the end of the day, both are weak films but nothing so bad you'll forever shiver at the sheer thought of them being on TV or available on the store counter. Batman & Robin is much more legendary for its bad quality and although being such a bad movie has had a major footprint in the genre which led studios to think differently about adapting the medium from there on out. Even today is stench can be smelled.

For the sake of brevity, let's limit this to just the first Ghost Rider movie. Who is picking Ghost Rider as worse? Ghost Rider is bland, but it's nowhere near the complete catastrophe that Batman & Robin is. Ghost Rider is cheesy at times, but it's more in line with Daredevil '03. It's not the worst thing ever. There isn't even a contest here is there?

Ghost Rider is one of my favorite comic characters so i was extremely and personally butthurt about his movie getting stuffed up.

The vast majority of marvel movies are forgotten 20 minutes after you watch them but Ghost Rider is such an amazingly boring crap fest you forget what happened in the scene you just watched because you probably fell asleep. Batman and Robin was bad and Schumacher is an awful director but it's so over the top, goofy and cheesy that it's somehow entertaining. In comparison to Ghost Rider at least.
There is nothing entertaining about Ghost Rider. How the hell does a movie manage to make Satan seem like a pussy?

I don't think Schumacher is an awful director. He's got a solid list of films under his belt. Lost Boys, Falling Down, St Elmo's Fire...and if you understand that the Batman films were exactly what he was asked to do by the studio then they get a pass.
