This was a lot of fun. Great mix of action & humor (something imo the MCU has had some problems with in some of their films , which I have been critical of. ) But the jokes worked well in this one. Holland is definitely my favorite Spiderman so far. Also was nice to see Iron Man NOT get a lot of screen time. This IS a Spiderman film after all. I do wish Keaton's character was a bit more fleshed out but overall this was definitely worth seeing in theaters. 8/10

NOTHING in your response negates the fact that your comment includes this: It has a large black cast and Peter Parker is in love with TWO black chicks. A comment that has nothing to do with anything at all, except to show a kind of disdain for "a large black cast" and "Peter being in love with TWO black chicks". If it didn't matter to you then you wouldn't have written that at all.
Its not my response to your comment that requires a second thought. YOU made the initial comment. YOU need to own what YOU wrote. Its the fact that you don't see that that makes YOU the idiot. A racist idiot. Racist. lol
You continue to prove my point but you don't seem to realize it. I could explain it to you but it's better if you try and figure it out yourself otherwise how can you learn? Slowly reread what I posted and then think about it. Ponder it carefully instead of screaming RACIST. If you still are unable to grasp what I'm saying then let me know and I will explain it to you. I'm really pulling for you. Good luck. This is a CLASSIC, obvious, and rather lame, attempt at reverse psychology. Your tactics are showing, my dear. The commentary in question starts with YOU, no matter how hard you try to flip it back on me or anyone else.
I repeat, If the "blackness" didn't matter to you then you wouldn't have written it at all. "It has a large black cast and Peter Parker is in love with TWO black chicks" is a comment that has nothing to do with anything at all, except to show a kind of disdain for blackness.
You can keep trying to out-rationalize it though. I have a feeling you will. I'm really pulling for you. Good luck. Racist. lol

The forced blackness bothers me but other things were already pissing me off like him sounding like a child, having an Iron Man mentor and also a friend.
The blackness just emphasizes what we already know--Wall Street hates white people.
I was watching Equinox last night--the low budget 1970 film--and the main blonde girl in that is much prettier than Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone and lord knows who else gets paraded in movies. Pretty sad that I see better looking women on the street than in movies these days.

If you'd actually watched the film, you'd know Tony basically ignores Peter, forcing him to do things on his own. The most "mentoring" he does is putting him in one situation where he has to make a choice to see what he decides to do. 2. There is no lack of whiteness in this film. They just don't pretend like New York is mostly populated by white people.

They already established Iron Man knew who he was in the first film and if his girlfriend is black then that is more than saying New York is mostly populated by white people. Anyway white, black, it is nothing like the original comics where he was a loner.

Making his girlfriend black isn't a statement of any kind. Watch the damn film. "Anyway white, black, it is nothing like the original comics where he was a loner." Parker doesn't start out friendless in most other adaptations, either. He had friends from episode one of the 90s series. In the first Raimi film, he had Harry from the word go in present time. In "Spectacular Spider-Man", he had Eddie, Harry, and Gwen right from episode one. Actually, the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man is the first one to be a proper loner. So basically, fuck you. You're picking and choosing what you want to bitch about.

In the Raimi version (no fan BTW) Harry was not in the picture until after he gets bitten. But Mary Jane WAS in the picture since he was 7 which was pathetic. And fuck you right back with sugar on it. Picking and choosing what one wants to bitch about is what opinion making is all about. You can shove your globalist Borg philosophy right up your collective.

So its okay for Peter Parker to have friends in other adaptations, but not Homecoming? Nice double standard you have there. Its only wrong if Marvel does it, right? "You can shove your globalist Borg philosophy right up your collective." Right, because not being bothered by a white guy dating a black girl makes me a globalist. So when's your next Klan meeting? Actually, no, I'm not a globalist. I'm very much in disagreement of that kind of thinking. There's just no pointing in whining about there being large numbers of non-whites in the cast of a film taking place in FREAKIN' NEW YORK CITY. You've obviously never been there. Speaking as someone who did live there for seven months once, I'll let you in on something: you are unlikely to have the comfort of only being around white people there. Those gosh darn horrible minority nasties are everywhere and you might even have to say "Hi" to one.

Peter's high school life was greatly truncated in the Raimi version which I didnt approve of--just as didnt approve of them turning Flash into an anonymous goon. As for the black girl thing--it is totally globalist multicultural bullshit. There is zero reason to give him a black girlfriend except to push a race-mixing agenda. It is the kosher bankers of Wall Street Disney that have the problem. Whites do tend to breed with whites. The reality of Nature seems to drive them crazy.

It's a different take on the character. Most supposed "loners" do have a couple of friends. Get over it. "As for the black girl thing--it is totally globalist multicultural bullshit." Newsflash, we're ALL mixed-race in some way or another. I'm 1/8th Native American, myself. "It is the kosher bankers of Wall Street Disney that have the problem." "Kosher"? Really? So you're a raging Antisemite. If Wall Street hates white people, why are Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Maria Hill, Peggy Carter, Sharon Carter, Loki, Starlord, Quicksilver, Starlet Witch, Doctor Strange, and yes, Spider-Man, ALL STILL WHITE? Yes, same/same ethnic pairings are the majority, but I've met many, many mixed ones in my lifetime, too. The reality of Nature must drive you crazy.

Thor should be an alpha white male but they also make him neurotic.Tony Stark and Black Widow are either played by mixed-race folk or presented as Jewish personalities--with some kind of neurosis or need for parental atonement (Thor has it too). As for the other "whites" like Peggy and Sharon Carter, I really like their blue eyes. But I saw a little of that in the comics though it didnt come across the same when John Buscema was drawing it. I am speaking mainly of Ditko's Spider-man. In the comics regardless what Lee added to the panels (with or without Ditko's approval), he was a white guy--probably Anglo-Saxon though Ditko's heritage was Ukrainian I believe so he may have been basing it on himself) it is a white guy with white supporting characters. Betty and Liz were as whitey as they get. Liz is portrayed by a biracial actress. So what is the message here that white people should die out or what? I doubt African-americans are thinking: hoo boy I need to see this Spider-man film because they got some biracial gal as Spidey's girl. It's bullshit. You can defend it all you want to but you aren't winning me over.

Better than having one's head stuck up a Wall Street banker's ass as seems to be the case with you. I will not change places thank you very much. The Klan do have dual identities and costumes. Could be a comic book. As for the rest, you can put down the tomahawk and pick up the peace pipe.

With your attitude, there are plenty of sticks and bones that will break your bones when you finally cross the wrong person with your anti-non-white rhetoric. I'm only sorry I won't be there to see it.

As much as I hate to interrupt this little love fest, I do have to point out that ScarJo and RDJ ARE BOTH JEWISH!
Carry on.
