I was going to say The Blood on Satan's Claw but I think it has gained quite a following. Totally absent from the mainstream media-the only 70s Brit horror movie they like to harp about is the Wicker Man.

The Dark (2005). I gave away the DVD the ending was so bleak. The alternate ending on the DVD wasn't much sunnier. Ignore the derisive reviews; the story is faithful to Irish folklore.
Society (1989). Weird and funny-- and great riff on the Eton Boating Song.

HELLO MARY LOU:PROM NIGHT II (lots of fun, ballsy effects on a low budget, lesbo shower scene, unexpected full frontal nudity, Michael Ironside....and that locker scene!).
THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW (flawed but interesting forgotten Craven effort).
POLTERGEIST II:THE OTHER SIDE (If alone for the ultra-eerie Julian Beck).
KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS
WHEN A STRANGER CALLS (2006 remake - for me, much more enjoyable than the tedious original).
I'M DANGEROUS TONIGHT (Tony Perkins, Dee Wallace and the lovely Madchen Amick in a Tobe Hooper non-starter that I thoroughly enjoyed).
AND SOON THE DARKNESS (1971)
THE BURNING (preferred it to FRIDAY THE 13TH).

The Brotherhood of Satan (1971). Oddball but terrific little supernatural shocker starring superb character actors Strother Martin and L. Q. Jones. Jaw-dropping conclusion.
Race with the Devil (1975). More trouble with Satanists. The director specialized in motorcycle gang movies and the movie is one long exciting chase-- except the pursued protagonists drive an R.V.
No gore or sex in either of the above so some may find them objectionable.

Thought I might bring up HOUSE OF WAX-05'. I think this millennial horror was one of the best of the 00's. It had a slow but interesting and intriguing build up and was visually strong, with sadistic and disturbing violence. Some of it's style remained me of a good 80's horror\slasher flick and the performances were decent. Except Paris Hilton of course, but she served her purpose as written and played and had one of the best death scenes.

I wasn't that sold on The Burning though, last time I recently viewed. Not that sold on the first FT13th either.

Pleasantly surprised.

Cold Prey (2006) You have read subtitles because it's Norwegian, but it delivers! Prophecy (1979) Directed by John Frankenheimer, it has a mutated bear chasing people through the scenic wilderness.

Twisted Nerve (1968), Dark Age (1987), Baxter (1989) & The Forgotton One (1989).
I definitely second "Girly".
