So, what do you think of the baseball season at the halfway point? How is your team doing?
The Fish are in a free fall right now, our pitching is a total joke. Our season is about to go completely down the drain if we don't turn things around. We should be better.
Astros and Dodgers have the most wins at 54. Astros are the best team in the MLB IMO, they are the most complete team and they will be better when their pitching staff is healthy again. Dodgers have been somewhat of a surprise, I'm surprised their pitching and bullpen has been that great and their hitting is deeper than I expected. I can't help but wonder if they will fall some in the second half being in such a tough division.

League should fine the Yankees. Nationally-televised prime time game in Houston and Judge is a healthy scratch.
I need his points!
Stros are amazing, but they're an NL team so you'd expect them to dominate that inferior league.

Astros are in the AL now. Guess you haven't been following baseball the last few years.
I agree that the Yankees shouldn't bench one of the leagues premiere players in a nationally televised game when he's completely healthy.

The Blue Jays fell 6 games behind .500 today and I don't think they're gonna reach .500 this year. This is usually the time they make a run, but their swing for the fences anemic offense is just not cutting it. Justin Smoak and Roberto Osuna are the only bright spots on the team right now.

The Reds are in the division basement but they'll always have that four game sweep of the Cardinals this year, and just won a series over the Cubs!

You said the Astros are an NL team in your post. And they always will be. And Wrigley Field will always be a Federal League ballpark!

I thought the starters to the All Star Game were the right choices pretty much. I voted for all but 1 or 2 of them, what do you guys think?

I don't know as much about the AL players but it seems like the right roster. I was glad to see Zack Cozart getting the nod in the NL. Guy is having a great year.

I want the Jays to become sellers. Please trade Tulo, Bautista, Pillar, & anyone on the bench.
The good news is 2017 won't have put much wasted mileage on Sanchez's arm - he's been out with a nail problem. Stroman could probably use a bit of a dialed down pitch/innings count when we get to Aug & Sep. Donaldson & Smoak will be very good corner guys for younger roster next season.

Dodgers are playing better than their talent level IMO. They are good but they are playing out of this world. Alex Wood with a 10-0 record and a 1.67 ERA, unreal. And how about Cody Bellinger with 25 HR's now, he's come out of nowhere and become a slugger. Dodgers are talented but I'm unsure if they can keep up this out of the universe streak they are on.
