People are allowed inside some of the exhibited craft (not the moon lander though). It's not as large as the one On the National Mall (Smithsonian) but it is an important supplement. On my last visit to Air Power Park in Hampton, Virginia some of the exhibits were showing signs of too many years exposure to the weather. I hope they take care of that if they haven't already. On not exactly related matters, the Arts, Virginia has a more extensive collection of art than the National Gallery.

Looks like a BAC Strikemaster and a DeHavilland Venom. If I got them wrong, you'll tell me.

I started to type Vampire, but the vertical stabilizers looked different than I remembered, so I guessed it was a Venom. If you've never read "The Shepherd" by Frederic Forsyth, I recommend it. The pilot in the story flies a Vampire.

Vampire's wings look like stretched diamond shape, Venom wings are more normal in appearance.
