Well whoever they chose as Catwoman, it would be a great improvement from Halle Berry. That’s for sure but the blame of that movie wasn’t all Halle Berry. It was Warner Bros that decided to make a movie about ‘Catwoman’ that wasn’t even Selina Kyle and was based on a script for another movie with some light changes and the ‘Catwoman’ name added to it after Michelle Pfeiffer and Tim Burton pulled out of the original movie that was a spinoff from ‘Batman Returns.’ No matter who the company decided to use that movie was going to flop ‘cause it was like making a Batman movie with a guy named Martian that could turn into a bat and fly.
I will always wonder what the Michelle Pfeiffer and Tim Burton movie would have been like if they hadn’t pulled out but by the time Warner Bros got around to making it they had changed Batman’s from Michael Keaton to Val Kilmer to George Clooney and ‘Batman & Robin’ had been a big flop so it would have been odd to have a movie out that tied on to ‘Batman Returns’ a decade later. I think they should have dropped Catwoman altogether at that point and waited to make a spinoff of Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman instead.

I agree. The writing for Catwoman was horrible. The film was just a jumbled mess from start to finish. The best part of the movie was that it finally ended. Even though Halle Berry was miscast, I don't hold her solely to blame for the failure of that movie. I hope if they do another spin-off, they will learn from the mistakes of the first one.

Nice write up DC Fan . Pretty much agree with all your points. I'm eagerly awaiting to see how they are going to handle Green Lantern . Apparently as I posted before, it's going to be "Lethal Weapon in space" with a dash of "Men in Black".
