Yes especially their early pre-synthesizers days up until The Game. Then they had a few good albums got a bit stale and were starting to be good again when Freddie died.

Definitely.
They always have the best music. I swear their soundtrack saved the Flash Gordon (1980) movie, otherwise it would have been some cheesy flick that nobody would remember nowadays.
