Be sure to check out the great David Gale (Re-Animator & Bride of the Re-Animator) whom once more steps up as a mad scientist along with his hilarious creature and not to forget, henchman. On Wikipedia it says: "The movie was officially released on DVD in the UK in late 2011 by Boulevard Entertainment, but has since gone out of print."But if one have a region free DVD player or one which plays region 2, Amazon.uk has several copies of it, where as the one I got several years ago is still around for a rather nice price compared to other out of print monster-sci-fi 80s horror films released to DVD.

So many to chose from, so I'll go with 1 I re-watched recently (on TCM no less) From Hell It Came (1957) "A wrongfully accused South Seas prince is executed, and returns as a walking tree stump." -IMDB

Another ridiculous movie that springs to mind, The Suckling (1990). A woman goes to a back alley abortion clinic, the baby is flushed to the sewer where it encounters some toxic sludge and is "reborn" as a mutant with murder on it's mind. A great sleazy, cool premise...that just disappoints, and worse than that, bores the viewer.

A killer tire rolling around killing people off? Seriously? Well, there was this.
Quite a come-down for H. R. Giger.

Two recent horror movies with stupid plots were "The Visit" and "Don't Breathe". Those may have been a bit far fetched, but compared to some of the films mentioned in this thread, those were true crime documentaries.

Leprechaun 4: In Space. Why was he in space? No one knows. Or how about Leprechaun in the Hood? And it's sequel, Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood? (I'm serious, that's the correct spelling for the title.)

Newer horror movies still haven't touched the weirdness of most of the ones mentioned in this thread.

The Brain (1988) was the dumbest thing ever. A killer brain eats people, it somehow chases after them, although we are never shown any legs or wheels or even a skateboard. How does the brain get around? Did I mention it has eyes and a mouth? Does the brain has a brain of its own, or is it just a brainless brain?
I rented this on VHS back in the late 80s or early 90s. Stupid, BUT entertaining enough...

Quite a come-down for H. R. Giger. I first read (heard) about this one helping someone on the old INTK board on IMDb. This WASN'T the film they were seeking...it was The Revenant.

A killer tire rolling around killing people off? Seriously? This reminded me of that silly sketch on The Captain & Tennille Show called The Bionic Watermelon. A watermelon falls off a farmer's flatbed truck and gets smashed on the pavement. Then the government gives him a successful bionic operation and now he's a crime-fighting watermelon!

A killer tire rolling around killing people off? Seriously? Yeah. But the 'horror/scifi' element is not really what the movie is. It's like a dadaist commentary on screenwriting structure and audience complacency. It totally sucks, but that horror/scifi elements are not even the real issue.
