I just started watching it and I don't understand what everyone hates about it. It's not on the level of Jessica jones or Daredevil, but it's certainly not bad. We're people expecting too much from it or what?

i hear a lot of people say it's not that bad or it gets a bad rap or whatever. but i'm not sure i've actually talked to anyone who disliked it.
although i was pretty disappointed by the choreography. it came off sloppy and amateurish, when i'd expected it to be the main draw.

I just got through the first episode. It was by no means bad like everyone makes it out to be. It's just kind of slow. I don't know what to make of the actor playing Danny because I've never read the comics. I do hope though he gets his costume.

I thought it was fine. It's not as good as Daredevil but it's better than Cage. Probably on par with JJ but has different strengths. Definitely watchable and enjoyable.

I liked it a lot. I think Jessica Jones is the best of the shows though. I have just been such a fan of hers since her first comic series and I loved the Noir aspect of the show. What I like about Iron Fist and what sets him apart is the mysticism and I love how Danny is far more positive than the other characters. I think he will bring an interesting lightness to The Defenders.

Do not listen to DC Fan. Jessica Jones is an amazing show and he is just butt hurt because Gotham and the CW DC shows are trash. Iron Fist is easily the worst of the four Netflix shows, but it was okay. I really enjoyed it on first watch, but recently I binged all four series to prepare for The Defenders and I noticed how poor Iron Fist was on second watch. The writing is bad, the acting can be bad, and the fight scenes were not very well done. I do like Danny though as a character and hope they can redeem themselves.

People exaggerate a lot about how bad Iron Fist is. I would say it's the weakest of the four shows and it does have its problems, but I enjoyed it overall.
Luke Cage was just okay. It does move slow and I did not like the back half, when Diamondback comes in. I liked Jessica Jones a lot, next to Daredevil it's my favorite of the shows.

He is just butthurt because Jessica Jones is a really boring and crappy snoozefest and nowhere as good as the DC TV shows. Iron Fist isn't bad and definitely much better than Jessica Jones, which is easily not only the worst of MCU's Netflix shows but also the worst CBM series ever produced.

I have to disagree with you on this Marv, and agree with DC-Fan: I didn't like JJ at all. I preferred Cage though once what's-his-name died (something Snake), it went downhill, fast.

Supergirl, Arrow, and Flash are terrible shows, especially now. Jessica Jones is far more critically acclaimed and for good reason.

It wasn't awful, but it sure wasn't good either. The fight scenes were disappointing, the story weak, the bad guy(s) really stupid.
It's easily the worst of the Netflix Marvel series. Jessica Jones wasn't great (but did have an excellent villain), and Luke Cage really ended poorly (when Cottonmouth went the way of the dodo, so did the quality of the show), but Iron Fist was easily worse.
