Since the topic came up in the thread about "Friends," how does this board feel about TBBT? I don't mind it, myself. I can't hate a show that references the "Flash of Two Earths" comic or the 1960 'Time Machine' movie.

A bit too "one note" for me. Watch it only sporatically. Maybe it gets better with age ? The girl with the squeaky voice is too annoying to remember her name. The mom's are priceless. It seems to be on 24/7 on one channel or other. BBT Overload leads to avoidance.

9/10 - Used to be my favorite show, the first 5 or 6 seasons anyway.

It was a funny show until the episode where they introduced Sheldon's love interest. I lost interest after that. I have no idea what season that was. Til that point I would give it a solid 8/10

If you would have asked me during the first five seasons, then I probably would have told you 10/10. But, when they introduced Amy and had a few other recurring characters, the show started to decline somewhat.
I could never stand Bernadette. Her voice is so grating. Oddly enough, she didn't really sound the way she does back when she was just Penny's coworker at The Cheesecake Factory. I have no idea why they altered her character.
I guess I do miss Howard's mom a bit. I know the actress Carol Ann Susi passed away, but her interactions with Howard always made me laugh.
I really hope the twelfth season is the end. I don't see how they can keep dragging it out.

I love the show, one of the best ever-- watched it for years--still watch episodes every night--I like everybody in the cast, although homely Galecki is starting to annoy me,the way he tilts up his head a lot, holding his hands together like a little girl, annoying whiny voice--Stuart is really funny,Wolewicz is probably the most talented--All of them wear hairpieces, even tho they deny it--Penny is great but she is aging badly

Seasons 2 through 4 and part of 5 really work for me. Season 6 was a warning of things to come. That whole season didn't feel right.

She played the niece of the newspaper's owner who wanted to be a reporter and was sort of Kolchak's (unwanted) apprentice. She really was fat back in those days, was she that way towards the end of her life?

A 7, bordering on a 6, for me. It is always the same, really, but still fun to watch. For now anyway, looks like they'll drag it out for way too long.

less than 1. Even more painful than the Grinch. Yeah, it's fucking insufferable, and it's mind-blowing people (a) love any lame AF laugh-track sitcoms in 2017 and (b) think this one is even 1% funny or good.

4/10 Season 4 is still fun standalone, decent dvd re-watchings. The show peaked early though, its premises do not hold at all with the ageing cast & their character situations.

Used to like it, but they ruined Sheldon with Amy. And then I started noticing the show's attitude towards women, and found that kind of offputting.
