Autumn is too damn cold. How can you people like Autumn? You must be confusing Autumn with Winter. lol Autumn is perfect for me. I love cool temps without it being too cold. But I don't mind cold weather (and prefer it to really hot weather) as long as it's not below the 40's. That's too cold in my book, but temps anywhere from 50 to 75 degrees is perfect to me. Plus, I voted Autumn because I just love the pretty leaves and the smell in the air. Also, Halloween.

Makes Spring my favorite.

It used to be Spring. It is now Autumn. Although, I am a Winter. Born in the Summer.

Spring because nearly every other day feels the warmest, gradually climbing. From mid April til' around June, every new warmer day feels better than the last.
Autumn is also hurt by Labour Day feeling quite absolute. At least spring, like its temperatures, is a gradual transition.
Winter is alright socially with indoors gatherings & holidays, Summer is great though unbearable heat through August can be too much.

Autumn in New England is sublime. It really begins toward the end of August. That's when we see Halloween items in the stores. September is, for me, at least, the most wonderful month of the entire year. Just gorgeous weather, with little to no biting insects. October's when the foliage hits, and if you've ever seen a New England autumn, then you know it's truly breath-taking. This lasts until mid-November. Of course, we have great Halloween ambiance, with leaves skittering over sidewalks and roads, pumpkins on every doorstep, and some yards decorated to the "nines." All in all, it lasts approximately three months.
Winter was my favorite season as a kid because, of course, I did all the things kids do when there's lot of snow (and there was always a LOT, from Thanksgiving right up until the end of March). Sledding was, by far, my favorite winter pastime, and I LOVE Christmas. As an adult, however, I have to deal with shoveling, falling, rising oil prices, things being cancelled because of snow, etc. Not fun at all. So, now, winter's my least favorite season. And in New England, it lasts forever. Winter's the party guest who just doesn't know it's time to go home. From November through March: 4 months!
Spring is sublime, too, but very short. It starts hitting in April, blossoms in May, and suddenly, it's summer again.
I love summer, except for the oppressive heat. That's the biggest drawback. But there's no denying it's great to go around shirtless, have backyard barbecues and enjoy the beach!

Autumn is too damn cold. How can you people like Autumn? I actually prefer cooler weather. Less sweat, less bugs & insects, less rain. Yardwork ends, air conditioning/electric bill goes down, etc. Also, I love Autumn because football season begins, which gives me something to watch on Sundays.

Without the really long Winter here when would I get the time to set aside- trapped by the icy elements, hibernating while watching all those cool movies, listening to records, reading books, chatting to cool people (like yourselves If it was perpetual Summer? It would probably be far more boring talking to the voices inside my head.

Where you live likely affects your opinion, at least in my case it does. Where I live, the summers are long, horrific, and brutal. Since our winters barely qualify as winters, (I personally call them summer-lights) fall is my favorite time of year-it gets a little cooler, and I still have winter to look forward to. Spring sucks...the return of allergies, bugs, and the dreaded long hot and humid summers full of triple digit temps. I'm not saying I want winters full of endless blizzards and ice or anything, but I'd like to live just a little bit further north where they get snow at least once or twice a year.

Summer gets my vote. Where I live it's just a beautiful time of year.
Autumn gets my second vote...mostly because of Halloween...I love it right up until that point and often until Thanksgiving...right after that, it all goes to hell.
I hate winter with a passion. Can't stand snow.
Spring...it's iffy...if it would turn nice almost immediately as soon as the season changes on the calendar I'd like it a lot more...but the weather here during the spring can be so sketchy, and it's really wet and cold more often than not.

Fall has always been my favorite. Not too cold and not too hot. It just feels peaceful somewhat.

Gotta go with Spring, best temperatures, though Summer is right up there, too. Winter kills me.
