Did you have any of the Wishbone books growing up? My mom got me 4 of the regular series, which were based on episodes, but I wasn't interested in them. Several years later I found the mystery series and bought all of them, read them all, love them, still have them.

I used to read them all the time when I was younger, they were great. I also watched the TV show.

Did wishbone ever get a finale in any medium. No. The show ended with a mentality of Joe and his friends onto bigger and better things in high school, but then they did a feature length special, Wishbone's Dog Days of the West, and in the book series, there were plans for another Super Adventure when everything just stopped.

Sad really. I was exposed to great literature and was my favorite show.

Mine too, the show was the only reason I ever read Phantom of the Opera, The Time Machine, The Red Badge of Courage, Anansai the Spider, and Tom Sawyer. The 'banned' episode is the only reason I ever heard of the play The Imaginary Invalid.
