Tim Curry turned down the role of Alex Delarge in Stanley Kubrick's classic " A Clockwork Orange" and Malcolm McDowell was cast instead. What if Tim Curry had accepted the role? How well would he have done?

Would Tim Curry have done a good job?

Two of my favourite actors. Malcolm McDowell is superb in the role but I've no doubt Tim Curry could have delivered a fascinating performance.

If it's true that Tim Curry turned down Clockwork Orange then he was nuts for doing so. But I suppose he would have done a fine job if he was cast. It's also been said that the Rolling Stones were considered for the droogs, and I can definitely picture Mick Jagger as Alex.
But when all is said and done, it's really hard to imagine anybody else doing a better job playing Alex than Malcolm McDowell.

Would Tim Curry have done a good job? Yes. I think the main character would have been even more twisted.
