I loved the first season, was lukewarm to season two. Your thoughts?

I agree. The first half of the second season was not good. It got good towards the end of the season. It will be interesting to see if the 3rd season is more like season 2, if it is, I'd imagine that season 4 will be the last season. The ratings for season 2 were pretty bad. It's the critical acclaim that this show runs on and season 2 was disappointing.

It started really meandering in season 2. The annoying FBI chick is boring so I don't understand why they are forcing her down our throats. Yeah I get it. She's "quirky". Why the hell is that supposed to be endearing?

Same, Season 1 was brilliant, but Season 2 kind of a letdown. I hated that female FBI agent. Terrible addition.

It's good up til they started the whole " it's all in his mind " bullshit. I knew it was over at that point.
