Neither will be cheap. Interesting dilemma, do the Brewers mortgage the future for a one and done playoff run or do they hold their prospects and try to stay the rebuilding course? They are getting monster years out of players who are probably playing way, WAY over their heads, Eric Thames, Domingo Santana, Orlando Arcia. Their top starter, Zach Davies, has won 10 games but had bad secondary numbers. This could be a team that collapses in the 2nd half. However, the Cubs and Cardinals stink this year. You might never get a better chance to win a division than this year.
Travis Shaw. Great trade, Dave Dombrowski. Red Sox 3b situation is so putrid, they might be talking Carney Lansford out of retirement. Or Dalton Jones. Meanwhile, Shaw is having a great year in Beer City. Well, at least we got a great bullpen arm in return. Oh, wait...
And what the fuck just happened in the Yankee game? That will teach me to watch the Orioles.
