Okay what will this one be about?? What new characters should be introduced and of course who should be the villain?? Personally I want Kraven he just seems like the next step or I guess someone else maybe. For some reason I want Doctor Octopus again but would that be too reminiscent of Spiderman 2?? Also who would you cast as the villain?? Who should play the Osborns?? What other superhero could appear?? Thoughts??

I would like to see Spider-Man's very first villain in the next film - the Chameleon.
Also, Mr. Negative has been growing on me recently.

Chemleon could be a good Secondary villain. I say fuck those spinoff films Kraven or Mysterio should be the Big Bad. Julian McMahon should play Norman

Julian McMahon should play Norman I would love Mysterio but, Sony has plans for him. I think the Chameleon could actually be a decent primary as long as he has strong henchmen. SaveSave

Seems like they might be setting up Scorpion but probably in a smaller role like Shocker in this one.
Mysterio or Kraven would be nice.

Scorpion as a secondary villain would be good. Perhaps HobGoblin or Mysterio as the key villain. Oh, I remembered the Spider-Slayers. Those would be cool.

Okay what will this one be about?? It'll be about Peter deciding whether or not to ask Michelle "Mary Jane" Watson to the Valentine's Day dance. who should be the villain?? The villain will be the school bully - Flash Thompson.

I think they should bring in Norman Osborn and Harry as well. Harry can be like a transfer student and you can gradually develop his friendship with Peter, and honestly, do it thru the next, however many sequels they plan. Do the same thing with Norman as well. No need to particularly hide his character as we all know he's an evil bastard, so they should develop that, have him doing shady stuff on the outside of the film while creating relationships with other characters, but save the Green Goblin for the next sequel or the one after where he can finally snap and don the Goblin suit. And as much as I'd like to see Doctor Octopus again, I think they should bring in a new villain we haven't seen before.

They already did the "villain is father of a fellow classmate" plot in SMH.

But even then, the stakes would be different as Norman is slightly insane and even go out of his way to hurt his own son as well whereas Vulture wouldn't hurt his daughter.

i think, for good or ill, they're purposefully shying away from characters that the other movies have covered.
i'd love to see Mysterio. the visuals have a lot of potential in a movie about him. i still lament that Campbell playing him for Raimi became an impossibility. i guess Sony wants him elsewhere though? is it for the Black Cat movie? i'd read that Tombstone was planned for that one. (funny, Black Cat and Tombstone would be my other top picks)
still a tad too soon for Kraven, i think. Spidey is only just now firmly established after Homecoming. i prefer that he have a bit of time to soak up the limelight to attract Kravinoff's attention.
how about Man-Wolf?

Kraven could be cool. Spider-Man has a great rogues gallery so there is no shortage of great options.
Scorpion has been introduced, and he will be good as a minor villain.
I hate to say it, but maybe introduce Norman Osborne. Not as the main villain, but in the background. He's too important to the comics. A Dark Avengers down the track could be really cool.

I think that's what Marvel will do with him. In the first film he's in, Osborne will probably just be an unpleasant presence that makes life hard for everyone, likely resulting in the creation of a supervillain. Then down the line he'll become a larger scale villain in the background ala a scaled-down Thanos before eventually becoming the Goblin and hopefully getting arrested, instead of just killed. That way he can live to get a parole and jumpstart the Dark Avengers. Now they just need an actor willing to stay on for that long.

If Trump gets a second presidential term, it will be politically topical to see Osborne as President. At least to some.

That's what's ruining the comics right now.

I've often thought that Mysterio and Scorpion could be a good pairing. Mysterio destroys Spider-Man's reputation by framing him for various crimes leading to a situation where Scorpion is created to stop him. Perhaps JJJ could even go so far as to promote Scorpion as the true hero of New York and potential recruit for the Avengers. Mysterio is my favourite Spider-Man villain so I'd love to see him used in some capacity. His abilities could make for some visually stunning sequences and I think people underestimate just how dangerous he could be both physically and mentally. Plus with Vulture and Shocker established and Scorpion hinted at maybe there's a Sinister 6 team up in the future? If so then Mysterio would be a logical addition
But I really hope they stay away from the Osbornes. They were a significant presence in both the previous iterations so I'd like to see them break a bit more new ground this time. Maybe if they cane make it past 3 films we can see Peter encounter Norman and Harry at college.
