It's an error, fanboys. Civil War states quite clearly that the Avengers were formed 4 years before the events of that film. SMH takes place a few months after CW, and it claims that the Avengers were formed 8 years before. Big discrepancy. It's something you have to deal with. We are dealing with it. The question is what the fuck are you doing? Looks more like you're having a circle-jerk while still pretending like it's not an error. It's the equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting, "LALALA CAN'T HEAR YOU MY MCU IS PERFECT LALALALA!" It's okay to admit that they majorly screwed up the timeline. It's okay.
