WW is threatening to the MCU Zombies. Therefore, they have to pretend like they didn't like it.

I really enjoyed Wonder Woman but I don't think it's as good as the movies you listed. Just my opinion. It's a fun and exciting movie though, I will give it that.

Wonder Woman is one of the best superhero films I've ever seen. It's comparable to Iron Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 2. It's truly phenomenal. Gal Gadot is amazing. Chris Pine is great. She's the hero we deserve from the DCEU. Way to go Wonder Woman. You kick so much f**king ASS!! It's well shot and acted, but not really all that much happens is the thing.

Its a very Average movie better than a couole superhero movies its not that great. Both the hero and villian are miscast, there is bad writing especially the last 30 mins. Its surving on the HyPe.

Since I am not a fanatic (like a lot of folks here), I don't feel obligated to love and praise a movie just because it is part of a cinematic universe or franchise. I judge movies on their own basis. There are some Marvel movies that I loved, some that I thought were average and others that I absolutely hated. Same with DC movies.
I thought WW was an average movie. A gazillion times better than BvS ans SS combined, but still an average movie. It could have been much better if a little bit more work was put into the script, especially the ending and the main villain. It's like the writers started out great but lost steam after half way and just wanted to wrap up the story quickly. It's overhyped. But at least it's a step in the right direction and hopefully future movies in the DCEU will be much better.

WW is threatening to the MCU Zombies. Therefore, they have to pretend like they didn't like it. Yep, that's 100% true. MCU zombies were so threatened by Wonder Woman that they started spreading BS rumors about Wonder Woman being "a complete mess" a couple months before anyone outside the production crew had even seen the movie yet. That's how scared the MCU zombies were.

AH/DC Fan stays true to form by getting every ... single ... friggin ... thing ... wrong. Not just in the Sports Forum but here as well. The rumor about WW being a mess came from a DC insider, not a MCU "zombie".
No Marvel fan is "scared" now that a low expectation Spiderman retread has so effortlessly spanked the DC crown jewel, both critically and at the box office. It's like when the Dallas Cowboys and the NE Patriots both get in the playoffs. Overconfident Dallas fans will get crushed when their team collapses early ... and the Patriots fans will enjoy another World Championship. It's all so inevitable.

Wrong yet again. You'd have been benched for the season with your batting average.

Simple. Sexist guys have a problem with 'Wonder Woman' being a FEMALE lead comic book movie and if you have a good look at the 'Wonder Woman' IMDB Boards on the IMDB Archive site you will find a ton of guys who were chucking tantrums over Wonder Woman being made when it was first announced and saying she shouldn't have her own movie 'cause she was a woman and men hating feminists were forcing it on them and trying to take over their gender. I lost count of how many of them I saw claim 'Wonder Woman' was going to be a major flop so it is not surprising they are so angry over it being successful and that we are getting more female lead comic book movies.

I liked WW very much, but I'm slowly starting to get irritated by people exaggerating their praise for it. Some people latch on to that "3rd best superhero movie ever" motto and some even say it's better than TDK and Avengers. And so I find myself time and again pointing out its many weaknesses simply to bring down the hype... and that's not how I wanted it to be.

Once you enter the real world, you'll find that most men won't care if a movie has a female lead or not. Sexism exists in the real world, but generally not in this form. Very few men will throw a fit just because a movie has a female lead.

The DC heroes don't drag me into their stories as much. I don't care if they live or die as often

WW is threatening to the MCU Zombies. Therefore, they have to pretend like they didn't like it. You guys are the Zombies. What do you care if an MCU fan liked or disliked Wonder Woman? If the Wonder Woman was so great, why is it so hard to disregard the opinions of a few so called zealots? Can't you all just get on with the big DCEU parade? I rarely come here to say anything about the DCEU or its fans because I don't care enough to do so. It seems to me that you're the one who feels threatened. If you were secure in the idea that Wonder Woman was a new classic, there wouldn't be any need for all the drama. MCU Zombies? I don't know about all that, looks like you're the one who's come to feast on our flesh. SaveSave

The DC heroes don't drag me into their stories as much. I don't care if they live or die as often Exactly. I gave up on the DCEU after BvS. Other than Wonder Woman, which I supported because it advanced the cause of women in Hollywood, the DCEU is in my rear-view mirror. I wish them the best of luck and I hope their fans are happy with the new releases but, there's not much there for me personally. I don't pick apart their movies or ride their fans over box office grosses, bad continuity or so-called plot holes because that would be a massive waste of my time. SaveSave

I agree. WW even felt like a typical MCU film.

It's leagues better than Batman v. Superman, but it's just an average film at best. As another poster mentioned not much happens. A lot of important things felt rushed so they could get to the big fight scene.

I agree. WW even felt like a typical MCU film. LOL! MCU fans keep wanting to claim Wonder Woman as an MCU film because they know that MCU makes crappy films and that Wonder Woman is better than all of the crap films that MCU makes.
