If you could bring back any lost film, which one would you choose?

Don't know bout lost films, but I'd restore The Legend of n****r Charley to its former glory. The version on youtube is still watchable, but pretty bad quality.

I thought of the lost footage from The Magnificent Ambersons, & restoring that to Welles's original vision (as best as possible).

London After Midnight. The long lost Chaney classic. Except that those who saw it while it still existed say it was nothing special.

I would like to be able to see Sasqua (1975) and The Day the Clown Cried (1972) and Silent Death (1983)

Tie with London After Midnight and Greed.
Though I would also have liked to see a 1915 movie I believe called The Circular Staircase. It was the first book Mary Roberts Rinehart wrote that was an inspiration for The Bat. So as a kid I heard that there were FOUR Bat movies, 1915, 1926, 1930 and 1959. I spent years trying to find the original and last year it finally occurred to me they meant The Circular Staircase. Same thing though, still can't find it.

The earliest Frankenstein and Wizard of Oz adaptations. Isn't the Edison version of Frankenstein the earliest? If so then I found it for you.

Great, guess I'd forgotten about that one, Life Without Soul then.

These 2 aren't actually lost, but some of the footage is. Tod Browning's "Freaks" and "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". Both were originally much longer and the extra footage is now missing.
