The late 80s/early 90s sure did produce some great dark comedies and The Addams Family Values is one of my favorite childhood films. A real comedy treat. I had such a big crush on Christina Ricci back then, and I always hoped there would be a third film coming out later on. The eat me performance is hilarious and I love how later on the douchy/smug parents end up seeing their beloved little brats get a bit of a surprise thanks to Wednesday and her "peace offering".

"I'd love to be able to say "I plumb toilets" and have someone say "Now that is something I've always wanted to do"."The ever so optimistic and kind hearted Kenny Smyth (Shane Jacobsen) is one of those rare men who have dedicated most of his life to a profession in which most people would stay as far away as possible. Still, Kenny takes a certain pride of his work and along with his co-workers, they really are a team of highly skilled, invisible, super heroes, who boldly steps right into a daily warzone full of chaos, evil smells, explosive toilets and angry customers and at the end of day, they are rarely ever being rewarded for their hard work of cleaning up the mess left behind by their fellow man.I copied this from the thread I made a couple of months back in the comedy section, as I am a bit lazy today. This Australian mockumentary is one of my absolute best impulse buys ever, as I picked it up for dirt cheap back in early winter of 2013, and by the look of the Norwegian DVD cover art, it seemed to try and make it out to be just another trashy, braindead Adam Sandler/Kevin James crapfest, which thankfully it was not. Kenny is a really well made, funny and good hearted comedy that I never go tired of seeing again and again. One of the best and funniest scenes is when Kenny is being parked inside by some douchy yuppie scumbag, and I love how he ends up getting quite a nasty surprise in the end. I guess the work within the poo business sometimes do have their advantages, and to make it even more funny, the uploader has tried to tell several people who have reacted negative to the clip, as they thought it was a real video clip, and not from a film. Another funny and great scene is from a festival where Kenny shows he is not a man that is afraid of getting his hands dirty.

This does look like a real funny one here stefancrosscoe thanks for the movie recommendation too . PS - Doesn't this gent almost resemble American actor - John Goodman( well more like the actor looked in the 1980's & 90's anyway ? ) . John Goodman in the film The Big Lebowski 1998

This is actually my second favorite LOL Scene to the turkey song scene ( Pugsly is such a riot the way he belts out the 2 main words also ) . I agree actress Christina Ricci was perfect for this role as Wednesday Addams ( excellent all-star cast in both Addams Family films as well ) . " 20 grand for summer camp, and he’s Mr. Woo Woo . " Thanks so much stefancrosscoe for your replies here too .

...I am gonna stray a little here, and cite a very recent commercial:
During the most recent MLB All Star game, a commercial ran for GEICO Insurance. In the commercial, we see a young fellow running for his life down a road. In the next sequence, we see a group of bulldogs round the corner chasing him...the commercial was labeled as "the running of the bulldogs" and when the young man fell down, the bulldogs surrounded him and started licking his face...I couldn't stop laughing !!!!!

Just too funny here Marv ! It almost reminds me of the early SNL skits from the 1970's & 80's . Good thing Jim Carrey really doesn't have that unique power or we would all die of embarrassment . Thanks so much for sharing this movie video clip too .

Gets me every time I see it. Then again, this movie is chock full of those moments for me.

PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES
You're going the wrong way !
Finding that the car is on fire !
Paying with melted credit cards.
NOT the pillows or car rental scenes even tho' those are the two most often shown as clips.

That movie Spies Like Us 1985 was really funny also ( I'm a definite fan of Dan Aykroyd & Chevy Chase too ) . This one also reminds me of this current commercial . Captain, Captain | Captain Morgan Thanks so much spike for sharing this one here .

One that I can think off the top of my head is the Elevator scene in "Manhattan Murder Mystery."

The scene where Fletcher Reede “roasts” the committee in Liar Liar seemed to get the biggest laughs when I saw it at the theatre (it’s always been my personal favourite of Jim Carrey's movies).

I think you will enjoy it, as it is kind of the same type of film as Borat (2006) but without the nasty/vulgar kind of slapsticks/comedy, instead it is a warm and kind hearted film that took me by complete surprise, as the DVD cover tried to make it out to be another "dumb" Hollywood comedy, with cheap farting jokes and, it really was a great hidden gem. Yeah, he did resemble John Goodman a bit. By the way a great actor and his part in The Big Lebowski is legendary fun.

It seems like the quote function is a bit off as of today, so I have to split up my replies in different posts, as I could not put them all into one big reply. I tried, several times, but then all of your post suddenly just disappeared out of the blue. I love a good topic/thread when discussing funny/hilarious movie moments/scenes, and I am glad you started this one up with Adams Family, Family Values, as that one I have not seen for a good while now and it might be time to have another go at it this summer.
