I'd be there opening night. I don't see it happeneing though. It would be great to give RDJ another solo movie before he retires from playing the character.

Robert Downey Jr has Director approval in all of his marvel contracts, so I kinda think he does. Interesting. Didn't know that. Probably only applies to solo movies though right? I heard it was for solo movies yes, like when Iron Man 3 got Shane Black to direct they had to make sure Downey Jr was cool with it, I take it he was as he was the one who suggested him.

Makes sense because didn't Black direct Kiss Kiss Bang Bang? Personally I'd use that as an example of why that clause was a bad idea. Iron Man 3 was a major tonal shift from the previous two. And IMO it is one the MCU's worst movies.
