The excessive acting nominations for Feud are just absurd. Stanley Tucci, Jackie Hoffman, and Judy Davis did NOT deserve to be nominated. Their performances were either ridiculous caricatures or just flat-out bad. And if I'm being sincere, Susan Sarandon didn't deserve a nomination either because she basically just played herself trying to imitate Bette Davis.

Damn sad that Legion, American Gods and Black Sails got seriously ignored. Legion was good but not necessarily award worthy. With the exception of Ian McShane, the other 2 are crap.

Damn sad that Legion, American Gods and Black Sails got seriously ignored. Legion was good but not necessarily award worthy. With the exception of Ian McShane, the other 2 are crap. Bull. Legion was excellent; visually insane and technically brilliant, well-directed, and very well-acted - Dan Stevens and Aubrey Plaza both deserved nominations for their work. Black Sails is one of the most under-appreciated shows of the last decade - A prequel to the classic tale Treasure Island while also taking influence from the likes of Breaking Bad, The Wire, Deadwood, and Game of Thrones with a bit of actual history but still being able to stand on its own two feet. Toby Stephens has been robbed not once but four times now for a nomination for Best Actor - Drama as Flint. American Gods is just out of this world, visually amazing with good script writing and terrific acting from everyone, not just Ian McShane but also Orlando Jones, Gillian Anderson, Cloris Leachman, Peter Stormare, Pablo Schrieber, Kristen Chenoweth...Nobody, not even Dane Cook, did bad or lackluster work at all.

Obviously you love some mediocrity so I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I said Legion was good although Plaza was very annoying. Her snarky emaciated bitchy chick act was old at least 5 years ago. Stevens was solid but nothing that special. Black Sails wasted impressive locales and somehow managed to make pirates, sex and violence dull. American Gods should have been called Zombie Spinner Girl since it spent several pointless episodes detailing the minutia of a tiny dead reanimated wife. You sure you don't want to babble about how great the painfully bad shadow moon was? Starz own Power looks brilliant by comparison to both shows and Power sure ain't brilliant. How many Emmys do you want to award 50 cent?

How many Emmys do you want to award 50 cent? I generally am not too fond of Plaza; didn't care for her in Parks & Rec. and Scott Pilgrim, but she did real good in Legion as Lenny. Stevens was fantastic and deserved a nomination, what did he do that precludes him from getting one with his work there? Black Sails expanded on the mythology and themes established in Treasure Island and turned it from a basic adventure story for adolescents into a very mature, complex story with respectable historical additions that enriched its setting. American Gods dealt with a whole lot more than Emily Browning's character. The guy playing Shadow Moon was adequate, good enough to be the audiences' perspective for the show. I do not watch Power so I cannot comment.

None of them deserved to be nominated, including Jessica Lange, who was completely over the top. Sarandon made absolutely no attempt to even channel Davis, outside of a few clipped words. Lange portrayed Crawford as a loony, constantly crying or screaming or throwing things. It was entertaining but hardly Emmy material.

Legion and American Gods do not deserve one award and I enjoy both of them. They are the definition of mediocre.
