This wasn't a mainstream song. I used to hear it on Sirius Alt Rock station. It was upbeat and catchy. I don't think the chorus has any lyrics; rather, it is a melody of "ohs" or "whoa" or something similar. There are hand-claps on the downbeat during the chorus. Also, the song starts out with this chorus - the "oohs" and the hand-claps - but without any instrumentation. After a few rounds of the chorus, the instruments kick in. The verses were about human history- how humans used to live in caves, etc... It was as if the writer of song took a class in anthropology and decided to write a song. I think the band is a trio - 2 guys and a girl, but it may be 3 guys and a girl. In the video, the band members are all hopping around to the beat as they sing and play their instruments. They look like they're having a lot of fun. Help. EDIT:
Found it. I was wrong about the lyrics being about anthropology. Oh well. The Thermals - Now We Can See
