I've been watching it on LAFF. One of my all time favorite shows. Fun Fact: Markie Post was in line behind me once at the grocery store when I lived in Burbank, California. She looked like she didn't want to be recognized, so I didn't say anything to her, but it was still pretty cool.

That was gracious of you. I'm sure she appreciated it. Thanks. I had a similar experience. I was in a bookstore at a mall and noticed a guy lurking amidst the shelves near the back, and recognized him as a local talk show host whose show I liked. I'd always felt that he was a shy person, plus he was quite pale. I suspected that he might've been agoraphobic, that he avoided leaving home. In fact, in an interview with Bill Murray, at the end, Murray joked with him saying he looked pale, that he needed to get out more. He looked sheepish when I noticed that I was looking at him. I decided not to bother him in any way despite that I'd liked to have told him I enjoyed his show. I figured he didn't wish to be approached. I think it was enough that he probably realized that I recognized him.

I think I use being online as some kind of outlet.

I totally agree Dan Fielding was ( and still is ) my # 1. favorite character on this fine sitcom as well ( " Dan Dan the very handsome and funny man ! " ) . I'm also a big fan of John Larroquette too - my very first discovery of this wonderful actor was from this show when it was brand new . Thanks gottaluvafriend for your reply .

I watched it religiously when it was on. bought seasons 3 through 9. I am a straight woman and I always loved Christine, especially with harry.
I remember watching this on my parent's little black and white tv in their room when we were in the middle of moving and most of the furniture was already on the truck.

That seems like a wonderful memory on this too . I can only hope that your new home back then was just as nice to be able to enjoy more of the Night Court experience over the years as well ? Thanks deembastille for your reply .

I was watching the reruns of this show. Haven't gotten to since Cozi TV moved their reruns of The Munsters to 7 in the evening. Harry and Bull are my favorite characters.

Night Court also airs on JoyTV 10 at 7:30pm EST weeknights. JoyTV is an independent TV station out of British Columbia.
Growing up, I enjoyed watching the series.
My favourite character was Bull. In fact, his trademark phrase "Ohh-kay" made its way into my vocabulary.
One incident I remember from the show happened in June of 1990. I was in the hospital, recovering from an appendectomy. All I remember is a scene where Dan walks in, and his suit was ripped to shreds.
I was laughing so hard it actually hurt.

An episode I can't track down online let alone figure out which season - the funniest sight gag ever was Bull caught up in a prank contest had a drinking fountain completely gush out like a waterfall in his face.

I believe that episode you mentioned here twothousandonemark is called - " Top Judge " from season 5 episode 20 ( AD - 4/8/1988 ) ( and here is the Wikipedia episode list write up for that one too ) " Harry becomes uncharacteristically glum and morose after an elderly judge dies after one of Harry's pranks, so his friends urge him to respond when a new judge lays claim to Harry's crown as the "King of the Courtroom Cutups." " That is also one of my favorite episodes too and loved the ending - what a riot . Thanks so much twothousandonemark for your reply .

The other great moment of course is Dan saving Roz's life on the roof. Also season 5.
