Inspired by Man from planet X Ads made for papers or magazines, using clasic movie stars in their ads, not for movies, not for TV and not for theatre, but about a product, or a good cause, or an organisation, though a movie might be hinted, and they don't have to be american. In random I choose Hanry Fonda, Ins proving that cigarattes don't cause irritations, but that was then A celebrity could also do a good thing Even the Young Henry Fonda could look smashing ina Hart Schaffner and Mark don't forget Mark Even Henry Fonda used Air France, suggested by Jimmy Stewart. Any more?

Spark Plugs do not usually come to mind when thinking of styling old ads but here is an oddity Madeline Carroll looking very elegant is compared to "Auto-lite" spark plugs for she like the plugs gives a perfect performance !!

Old lipstick ads Merle Oberon lipstick ad, and a mentioning of a movie in Technicolor, so it makes sense. Lovely Lucy, same lipstick, but the movie also promoted in ad was in black and white, so nobody could actually see her red Max factor lips...
