DS9 for me, with TNG a close second. And yes, I'm looking forward to Discovery.

'TOS' and NONE of the others come anywhere NEAR CLOSE.

The Original Series. They couldn't duplicate the chemistry between the characters. The closest later series' came may be Deep Space Nine.

DS9 for me, with TNG a close second. And yes, I'm looking forward to Discovery. Same here. Except that I'm looking forward to Discovery with contempt and loathing.

You surprise me, I assumed you would be a DS9 guy. I had a difficult time making a decision on this one and have come to the conclusion it's TNG by a hair over TOS for me. That series really brought me in with it's characters, visuals, and stories.

Original series.
I think DS9 had the most interesting characters of the newer ones (especially Odo, Quark, and Garak).
But they went to far into soap opera and SJW land by the end.

You surprise me, I assumed you would be a DS9 guy. Why did you assume I liked DS9 most?
BTW, have you seen Star Trek Continues? It's a fan-produced webseries that's supposed to be "Season 4" of TOS, but obviously with different actors playing the roles of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and the rest of the crew. I think the actor playing Scotty is actually a son of James Doohan.
They got permission from CBS to produce this webseries but only on the condition that they don't make any profit from it. So they've put each episode on their website for people to watch for free. They've produced 8 episodes so far. The 9th episode will premiere at Florida SuperCon on July 29 before they post it on their website. They're planning to make 11 episodes total before the project ends. To watch an episode, just click on the poster for that episode.
The webseries is good. I've watched every episode and my favorite is Episode 2 - "Lolani". My favorite Star Trek episode of any of the series was the TOS episode "The City on the Edge of Forever", with Joan Collins playing Edith Keeler. In that episode, Kirk had to make a very difficult decision and the ending was very emotional and gut-wrenching. Same with this episode 2 of STC, Kirk has to make a very difficult decision and the ending is very emotional and gut-wrenching.

The Odo Kira relationship. Come on--he's a freakin blob. I get the diversity storyline but that was too much.

DS9 for me.
I loved the reruns of the original series when I was a teenager but when I tried watching it again as an adult I found that I simply could not stand the silly story lines and the William Shatner acting style.
Next Generation is a close second, then Voyager. I wish Enterprise had lasted longer - it was cancelled just as it was getting good!

DS9 for me, with TNG a close second. And yes, I'm looking forward to Discovery. Although I like most of the Star Trek Saga especially that began in the 1990's and back my vote was definitely for Star Trek: Voyager 1995 - 2001 . IMPO - I always found this Star Trek Voyager Storyline underrated and overall quite unique from the other Star Treks as well . It's the whole " lost in the Delta Quadrant Storyline " that I really enjoyed ( and still do every time I watch this show ) . Of course just like the other Star Treks the character development almost always lures the viewer to either really like or sometimes dislike an individual character too . As for the rest of my Star Trek Saga Choices these were the ones for me that followed after Star Trek Voyager - 2. Star Trek: The Original Series 1966 - 1969 - Of course the show that started it all and still the best after all these years . 3. Star Trek: The Next Generation 1987 - 1994 - Another memorable & unique one that never loses interest on either . 4. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine 1993 - 1999 - A very interesting storyline involving a wormhole by a space station and the adventures as well as the characters that unfold from this fine show too . 5. Star Trek: Enterprise 2001 - 2005 - This also was a unique exception because of it being a really good prequel before the age to The Original Star Trek and I have also been a fan of actor Scott Bakula when he was on the TV Show Quantum Leap 1989 - 1993 also . Thanks so much sdm3 for your subject post .

Alright here's my star trek people. I'll always love the original series the best. I also am I big DS9 fan which I'm currently watching now. TNG is also very good. Voyager I am not a huge fan of. Enterprise was pretty underrated.

The original series is the best. DS9 comes in second. TNG is the worst.
