I enjoyed Brosnan's first three movies, Craig has two stellar entries, both in my top 5, one meh entry, and QoS is my personal worst Bond ever. As others have stated, Craig is very good in the role, but his movies never really felt like "Bond movies"...even the Connery chapter had a sense of fun about them, the Craig era really lacks that despite being great action movies.

Do you think Daniel Craig will be ranked higher than Pierce Brosnan, once he is done doing Bond? He already is, in my book....

Craig is commonly ranked second only to Connery, though he's fallen in popularity a bit after Spectre bored everyone, including himself. Still, that movie ain't no Die Another Day.

Craig's movies are probably better technically, but I prefer Brosnan's Bond.

Yes, but I feel bad for Brosnan, he knew his 007 films weren't the best, he said he wanted to play a grittier Bond back in the 90's, he even wished they could remake Casino Royale, which wound up in Craig's hands instead. He talks like it all ended prematurely for him, without a proper goodbye.

It's a bit difficult to compare them since their approaches are totally different. I really like Brosnan's Bond but I think I might give Craig an edge. You can't go on quality of the movie, because that's largely irrelevant to their individual performances.

I don't know, personally, I've never cared for him - granted I hate Sean C. as Bond and T. Dalton was my favorite Bond actor, therefore I assume I'm in the minority. Moore and Brosnan were always tied for my second-favorite Bond actors.

based on Bond movie quality... Craig EASILY tops Brosnan in my book as 3 out of the 4 Craig Bond movies are among the top Bond movies (and within my Top 105 movies at the minimum in general(although 2 out of the 3 are within my Top 26 movies)) where as I don't care for a single Brosnan Bond movie (i.e. 5/10 at best) even though they used to be among my favorites at one point in the past.
The following are the Bond movies that stand out for me and are among My Favorite Movies in general...
1.Skyfall (2012) - 9/10 (within my Top 26 movies) 2.Casino Royale (2006) 3.Goldfinger (1964) - 7.5-8/10 (within my Top 105 movies) 4.Spectre (2015) 5.From Russia with Love (1963) - 7-7.5/10 (not much outside of my Top 105 movies) 6.Licence to Kill (1989) - 7/10 (within my Top 187 movies) 7.Dr. No (1962)
but outside of the Bond movies, I prefer Brosnan over Craig even though Craig has better movies for me quite easily overall when you count everything Craig appeared in...
Craig...
1)Road to Perdition (2002) - 10/10 2)Skyfall (2012) - 9/10 3)Casino Royale (2006) 4)Munich (2005) - 8-8.5/10 5)Spectre (2015) - 7.5-8/10
Brosnan...
1)The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) - 9/10 2)The Matador (2005) - 8/10 3)Some Kind of Beautiful (2014-2015) - 6.5-7/10
but in terms of overall presence... I think Brosnan tops Craig for me especially when you exclude the James Bond movies and look at their roles outside of that because while Road to Perdition and Munich are top notch movies in Craig's favor, Craig is not the lead in Road to Perdition or Munich where as with Brosnan he is the lead (or at least co-lead) in the other three.

Daniel Craig's a much better Bond than Pierce Brosnan.
