saw the trailer in front of Planet of the Apes......and I think I'm actually kind of excited for a Guillermo Del Toro movie.
will say that while it doesn't give away too much............during those trailer quick flash montage moments......it kind of shows somethings too many.

No kidding? Is it out yet? The teaser I mean. nope, i check online afterwards and nothing, so for whatever reason it's only attached to War for the Planet of the Apes for now. the creature looks like Abe from Hellboy, but black and blue, a bit more monster like......but he still eats eggs.

Ya I know. Was it just me or did it show a pretty big main character dying near the end of the teaser?

I liked this. Maybe not a ton, but gorgeous direction and wonderful cinematography. Pretty beautiful score by Desplat, and Hawkins and Shannon are spectacular.
Do believe it's a little self-indulgent at times, however. Maybe a little more subtlety would have worked? Regardless, I'd recommend.
