Interesting. Madeleine L'Engle is one of my favorite authors, but the '03 TV adaptation got A Wrinkle in Time so wrong that I thought it could never be done well. This version seems a bit too star-studded and CGI-dominated for my tastes, but--hey--it's just a brief trailer, and I'll probably end up seeing it. Lord knows if I can get the bad taste from the TV film out, though...

i wonder if it will retain the overt Christian themes. Good question. I'm surprised they didn't produce this with Walden Media.

Visually looks very pretty, kind of getting a Tomorrowland vibe from it though,

I'll need to see more. Right now I cant get over the over-the-top fairy godmother costumes. So much of it looks so good and then they blow it on silly costumes and casting (Oprah)? And I don't even dislike Oprah. A, I think she should run for president (but that's another story, lol) and B, I think she's an ok actress. But really? Casting her as a fairy god mother type is the height of camp, in any movie.

I remember reading it the first time about 17-20 years ago, and loving it as well as the first sequel. When I heard they were making the movie, I wasn't sure how I felt about them attempting it. Having seen the trailer- I'm sold. I love the look of the 3 Ws as they do look kind of magical. Plus, the way we see them in the trailer may not be how they appear throughout the whole movie- that may be what they look like once Meg & co. have left the mundane world they've lived in all their lives. I admit being a Chris Pine fan as well, so when I heard he was in it, that got me more interested in this movie. I'll be in the theatres, popcorn and cola in hand, for this one!

Looks like we got Disney's next John Carter/Tommorowland If only they didn't give up on the Narnia movies so quickly. I liked Prince Caspian.

I like Oprah and Mindy but both of them in those wigs looks ridiculous.

Reese looks so out of place. I wish Lupita was cast instead, like it was originally intended.

Looks like typical family fantasy fare. Sorry, not seeing anything unique or interesting enough to suck me in.
