First Doctor I knew before he/she became a Doctor. She's been great in everything else I've seen her in. I know some are throwing tantrums over this, but I say, maybe, just try watching it first.

I don't like NuWho anyway, so it doesn't make much difference to me. But i will be quite interested to see if she has a male companion who bosses her around like the female companions boss around the male doctors. somehoe i suspect not.
