Does anybody actually know what the f is going on with this show? It seems that they have gone out of their way to make it as mysterious and incomprehensible as possible.
Kind of the worst influences of David Lynch, Gaspar Noe, and Christopher Nolan.
Or is it just very bad editing?

Which reminds me: HBO's Westworld is another show that seems needlessly convoluted. It could be a fantastic show, but for whatever reason, they make it extremely hard to follow what's going on.

It's bizarre by nature, but it's a mystery, and by the end of the season they mostly explained everything. Mr. Robot however in s02 went overboard and just made things convoluted because it was cool the first time.

I couldn't get past the pilot of Mr. Robot. I cannot believe that show made it.

I got hooked on this show until about the 6th or 7th ep of the first season. Then I saw the direction it started going in. More if the same ol " ohh it was all a dream , or he is imaging it " nonsense. Such a fucking cheap way to go. I would have been happy with just sticking to the "cyber hack for hire " angle. They just had to jag it all up with the dumb subliminal shit. Trying to be a " smart" show , when ironically that makes the show dumber and unoriginal

I guess im alone in saying i love every minute sorry. No you're not. I love Mr. Robot. I think it's a fantastic show. Next to Game of Thrones it's my favorite show on TV right now. It definitely can be tough to follow, but it's supposed to be. We are watching the series from the pov of a person with multiple personalities. We are supposed to question everything.

Interesting concept. Good lead actor. Poor writing and casting. Tried it and quit it. Really popular and really overrated.

The story is actually kind of easy to follow, but is intentionally muddled by the mental illness of the main character.
Hacker group is try to wreck things for big business by targeting the biggest one of all - E[vil]corp.
Ecorp does everything in its power to stay solvent which includes involving itself in a shady organization that is playing both sides that is led by a cross dresser.
I think it has some of the most gorgeous visuals on TV and the direction is sublime.
That said, I probably wouldn't be watching it if not for the technical perfection of it.

Yeah what fascinates me regarding elliott is he always tries to do the right thing but ends up making it about his self serving needs.

Incidentally, is anybody else as impressed as I am at how good Gloria Reuben looks? It's like this woman never ages. I wonder what her secret is.
