What do you think is the Number 1 Worst "ALIEN" Movie ?
I am adding The Assembly Cut of "ALIEN 3" to my Poll above because it is pretty much almost a completely different movie than the Theatrical Cut.

Requiem is literally unwatchable, so I vote for that one.

Alien: Resurrection.
AVP:R is a masterpiece compared to that.

I haven't seen the predator vs Alien type movies.
So, I am mostly with the consensus that the first two were much superior to the 3 and 4. Few deny that.
However, III and IV were the most Hollywood, the most negative and hate filled. Still, there is a difference.
III took itself too seriously, and preached too much negativity just for negativity sake. Therefore, it came across hideously "contrived" for that sake. You can't watch it without visualizing the retards making the movie guffawing and cackling with contempt upon the audience. It was just another of the usual Hollywood formula movies that comprised about 60% of the movies in the 1965-1990 period. It had "seventies geekiness" written all over it.
III tried to present itself as indifferent and "no respecter of persons", but it was so contrived that it failed miserably. It's not overly depressing, but it is overly stupid. It's too stupid to be depressing.
IV corrected that. It had a bit of a comic approach, and didn't take negativity too seriously. It let the cards fell where they fell. It had a more natural look about it, while still poking fun at the bizarre characters, such as the scientist who adored the little pet about to kill him.
It's understandable why IV can be considered Art, or even loved. It isn't understandable for III. III was inferior on every level, and was just a total waste, total without any Art, totally without any Inspiration, and shockingly totally without strategy and totally without any credible character motivation. This explains why the Beavis and Butthead crowd choose it over IV.
So ALIEN III is undeniably the worst of the 4 alien films (5 if you count Prometheus).

"Requiem" was dreadful and barely edges out "Resurrection." At least I could see most of what was going on in "Resurrection." I remember messing with the brightness and contrast settings on my TV to try and make out the predator-alien hybrid (that would have been pretty cool to see!). It also had some really mean-spirited deaths that reminded me of the 'shocking' horror kills of the 70s. "Cannibal Holocaust" maybe. I've got a strong tolerance for gore, and think sadism can have its place in a movie, but stuff like the hospital scene was too much for me.

I never saw any of the AvP, so I voted Alien 3. Worst of the series by far.
