Mal. I dont know why, being such a good actress, she totally ruined her performance in TDKR with such a terrible death scene.

I agree anthonyrocks, especially since the scene she has with Bane and Batman 10 min. prior is very well acted imo.

Spoilers"Talia al Ghul's death scene towards the end of The Dark Knight Rises is one of the most maligned moments in CBM history, but actress Marion Cotillard thinks people tend to make a bit too much of it..."So what went wrong?
In a new interview (translated from French site Allocine), Cotillard speaks for the first time about this, and although she believes people overreacted, she does also seem to suggest that perhaps Nolan should have used a different take!
“We’re all in the same boat, and if sometimes it gets out of control, then everyone is involved. Sometimes there are failures, and when you see this on screen, you’re thinking: ‘Why? Why did they keep that take?’ But either you blame everyone or nobody. But I thought people overreacted, because it was tough to be identified just with this scene. When I’m doing the best I can to find the authenticity in every character that I’m playing, it’s tough to be known just for this scene.”linklinkOk, I´m one of those who is disappointed at that scene, precisely because she is not an average actress. But I do agree with her, Nolan should have used a different take. I posted the links because I find interesting her point of view.
