Homecoming was fantastic the second time around. I loved the car scene even more as it slowly built. They did a damn excellent job maintaining the tension of Peter while building suspense from Adrian's point of view. Also the ending fight was gripping and I loved how it incorporated so many of the elements introduced earlier on, from Happy to the suit to the tech that was used to get in the plane. Even elements like the exploding power source came back into play which really makes you realize how well rounded this film is. And I can't say enough how much I appreciate the opening segment being a behind the scenes look at what happened right after Avengers. It just serves to build on the idea that the fallout from all of these encounters continues to have long lasting effects. One of the best parts about it is how low scale this is and you really wonder what would have happened if Vulture had gotten away with it. The Washington monument scene played better too as a perfect climax to Peter's little special ops mission and consequent imprisonment in the warehouse. So did the backyard sequence that ended with him dragging behind the truck and getting dropped from the sky. All good shit. It really moved with more action than I felt the first time. I loved it.

Yeah I enjoyed it the second time around was well. The lack of spider sense bothered me more the second time around though. It doesn't ruin the film by any means and they don't have to do entire scenes revolving around it. But he just keeps getting blindsided by everything, and if anything they could've had even more fun exploring that power in a film that finally got the tone of a Spider-Man story right.
All in all still a fantastic flick.

I suppose if he was your favorite character I could get it, it's not something that would change the course of any story they are trying to tell.

It was just funny that you didn't bother to explain anything about why you felt that way, but you just felt like you needed to let us know I guess.

It was good the second time around, but it dragged a bit more in the middle. Obviously that's because I knew what was happening and what would happen, but it was still boring.
It's a good movie. I can say that I was surprised that it was good.

If the infinity war trailer description is anything to go by, Peter does have Spider sense.

I actually liked it less the second time around. The humor/levity seemed less charming and the story lacked the gravitas of Spiderman 1-2 and better MCU entries like Winter Soldier. Also Spidey's Stark tech suit just seems to conveniently do everything he needs it to do, making Peter seem less like a standalone hero and more like a kid that won a raffle at Stark Tower.
Still good, but considerably less so on a second viewing.

Archie creates a thread to share his opinion and then blasts someone else's as pointless information. That ain't right

It's not even his douchebaggery; it's that he's an oblivious kunt, to boot. It's rubbish. He sucks.

It fits snuggly right in to the entire history.

The first time I would've easily said it was equal or better than Spidey 2 but upon RE watch it's probably equal to the first Raimi film for me. Still an 8.8/10 for me!

Spider-Sense doesn't protect him then.

Homecoming just felt jarringly underwhelming to me the second time 'round. Still enjoyable though. As MCU movies go I'd say it's middle of the pack or lower.
