I usually tend to avoid any scenes with nastiness relating to eyes (though if they’re not too gruesome or obviously fake-looking, then I can deal). Others have already posted my favourites ( Superman Returns, The Dark Knight). I do like this part with Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra) and her bionic eye from Doomsday (2008).

...in season 3 of Deadwood, there is a fight between a character named Captain Turner and Swearingen's chief henchman. At the end of the fight, one of Captain Turner's eyeballs is gouged out and is dangling from his eye socket and then the henchman proceeds to beat Truner to death with a 4x4...
