People I have "blocked" continue to read what I write and to post happily their rantings. Why? i'll never understand why anyone would come on to a message board and even contemplate a 'block' feature, let alone inquire into one. how old are you? and please tell me you're not from planet arlon. |

One difference that is annoying, but unrelated, is you can still see the threads of the people you block/ignore. Not their posts, but their threads are still there. Actually, you can block the threads as well. Go to Edit Your Profile, choose Privacy, and scroll down to the list of member you've blocked. The Block threads option probably won't appear at first, so reload, then open another website on another tab, then come back to your profile page. If that doesn't work, try reloading again. Yeah, it's really wonky, but if you're persistent, it can be done. |

They may have no issue with you beyond disagreement. Not in the case of the man I have tried to block. It's supposed to work like Facebook where I don't see him and he doesn't see me. He most definitely has a huge problem with my continued existence. |

There are only three possibilities: 1) You can't work computers which is why you can't block me on this site or facebook. 2) You can block me but are lying that you can't because you want to play the victim and pretend you're being persecuted. 3) The admins and I are in cahoots together to make sure that you can't block my posts because we're all homosexuals,punishing and persecuting brave crusaders like yourself who dare to speak the "truth" about the "homosexual agenda". Given your past history I'm 50/50 with the first two possibilities. The third one is patently absurd but that's what you are eluding to. You truly are one paranoid,self important old bat. |

Generally speaking, it does not matter if they see your posts so there is no reason to block them. facebook has a more stalker feel to it as opposed to an anonymous bulletin board, so maybe that's a key difference. |
