it's pretty self-explanatory what the gloves are and how they're powered up (with the infinity stones). What isn't self-explanatory is why there are 2 gloves? Who created the gloves and if the gloves are by themselves useless (as 1 MCU fan suggested), then why did the glove-maker make 2 gloves that are basically useless? That's what I was looking to have explained in the movies. You're right, it may not have effected BvS that much if you took that scene out (personally the entire scene should have been taken out) but it is technically part of the overall narrative of Bruce and Diana and Lex knowing about the other Meta-humans in this universe, which was part of a subplot for the film. Now like the infinity gloves in Infinity War, the motherbox and why it created Cyborg will probably be explained in Justice League, so honestly, it doesn't bother me. But like a hypocrite you are, you can't go on to deride Marvel for not explaining something till the next film when DC is doing the same exact thing. No, you're trying to compare a mother box appearing for 1 second in 1 scene that wasn't part of the main story of the movie and didn't affect the man story of the movie vs the MacGuffin gauntlets and Infinity Stones which have appeared in several movies and have been a major part of the story in several movies. Really?? Tell me how many times the gauntlets have appeared in the Marvel films. I count two; Thor, which was just a brief second, an Easter Egg. And the post credit scene of Age of Ultron. Both had nothing to do with their respective films so there was no need for an explanation till the next film. The infinity stones have been explained more than once in Guardians, Thor 2 and Ultron, and it has already been confirmed there's two gloves and it's going to be explained in Infinity War, so I really don't see your problem other than you just being a dumbass DC troll looking for a way to discredit Marvel

There are 2 because they were made by different people for different people and they just happened to make them for different hands. Maybe Thanos' is a lefty because of the word 'sinister' meaning both evil and left-handedness. Thanos made one/had one made for himself because he wants to rule the universe. Odin's seems like it was given to him as a novelty gift suggesting he's honorable enough to rule the universe though with no expectation of it actually happening. They're not useless useless. They have no inherent ability beyond protecting one's hand and holding infinity stone-sized objects. These aren't things that should have been spelled out already because the gauntlets have yet to be important so far.

So now DC-Fan wants to know why someone would make a pair of Gauntlets. Hilarious.

So now DC-Fan wants to know why someone would make a pair of Gauntlets. Hilarious. No, the question is specifically why would the gauntlet maker make a right-hand gauntlet and a left-hand gauntlet when only 1 gauntlet is needed and the gauntlets by themselves are useless without the Infinity Stones? What is the purpose of the 2nd gauntlet if it's useless without the Infinity Stones?

Stop asking to be spoonfed.

Running out of ways to discredit Marvel, now you're just nitpicking tiny little details about stuff that will already be explained in Infinity War. But who made the Motherboxes. Why are there three of them on Earth? Are there more than three of them? What are their function? Why did it create Cyborg?

Did SMH ever say that Peter started using his powers to help people after he let a thief get away who murdered Uncle Ben? MCU fans keep saying they didn't need to show Peter's origin story because it should be common knowledge for anyone who's familiar with Spider-Man. By that same reasoning, WW doesn't have to spoon-feed it to you that Hephaestus forged the lasso and the bracelets because Hippolyta said they received many gifts from the gods and it's common knowledge that Hephaestus created weapons for the gods.
Unlike Norse mythology (in which most of the general public have only heard about Odin, Thor, and Loki and don't know much about the other gods), Greek mythology is the most popular mythology in the world and most people know about the Trojan War and other famous Greek myths and most people know who the Greek gods are.
There are some stories that are so famous that no explanation is necessary. When someone says "the face that launched a thousand ships", everyone knows that's a reference to Helen of Troy. When someone says "beware of Greeks bearing gifts", everyone knows that's a reference to the Trojan Horse.
Most people know that Zeus was the King of the Gods. Most people know that Ares was the God of War. Most people know that Hades was the God of the Underworld. Most people know that Poseidon was the God of the Sea. Most people know that Aphrodite was the Goddess of Love. And most people know that Hephaestus made weapons for the Gods. So those don't have to be spoon-fed to you.
But most people don't know anything about the MacGuffin gauntlets or the Infinity Stones. Who made the Infinity Stone gauntlets and why make a right-hand-gauntlet and left-hand-gauntlet when only 1 gauntlet is needed and the gauntlets by themselves are useless without the Infinity Stones? What is the purpose of the 2nd gauntlet if it's useless without the Infinity Stones? That's not common knowledge. Heck, not even you MCU fans can explain that.

Most people know that Zeus was the King of the Gods. Most people know that Ares was the God of War. Most people know that Hades was the God of the Underworld. Most people don't care. You do. So what most people think, according to you Doesn't matter. Did they state that the godkiller was made by Hephaestus? Cause it wasn't now was it? It was a ruse. So what most people think might not be true. If they don't say he made the lasso it's anyone's guess who made it in the movie version. But guess what nobody cares. It's irrelevant like who made the gauntlet. It's just you asking for trouble.
