Brainiac, Doomsday, Adam Strange, and Hawkwoman? TEXT: At Comic-Con International in San Diego’s panel for the upcoming TV series Krypton, key plot details were revealed, in addition to the news that the show will be home to several DC Comics characters, including Doomsday, Brainiac, Hawkwoman and Adam Strange. Teasing the plot, moderator — and DC Entertainment President and Chief Creative Officer — Geoff Johns revealed the series would jump between time periods, unraveling a “conspiracy.” “It’s a show that, although it takes place centuries ago on Krypton about the House of El, it’s about a conspiracy from the present that has traveled back in time to to Krypton to prevent Superman’s legacy from ever happening,” “Adam Strange and Hawkwoman come to Krypton trying to stop the conspiracy and save Superman’s legacy,” Johns announced. “Doomsday will be in the show. Brainiac is long overdue to be on screen like that.” Co-showrunner and executive producer Damian Kindler said of the Brainiac reveal: “We’ve been keeping that under wraps,” he said. “He has a really deep, rich history. He is the nexus point between man and machine which is an incredibly real thing to talk about now.” Johns even recited Adam Strange’s introduction speech on the series — from memory! “‘I’m from a planet called Earth, my name is Adam Strange, I come from a time long after this and I need you to help me save the legacy of your grandson,'” Johns said. “There are others [from Earth] already on Krypton and as the series progresses, we’ll bring in some more [classic DC characters].” Co-showrunner and executive producer Cameron Welsh teased, “[Adam Strange] is a little more cynical. He’s got gallows humor. He’s been around for a while.” Krypton will premiere on Syfy in 2018. www.cbr.com/syfy-krypton-brainiac-doomsday-adam-strange-hawkwoman/

Well that's that. I hope they cast another Superman for this. Three Supermen at the same time must be a record. ![](http://i.imgur.com/FJOLv35.jpg)

I mean three actors. Cavill, Hoechlin on Supergirl, and soon someone on Krypton.
By the way, they're making two animated movies about Death, Reign and Return.

I'm actually disappointed that the show isn't a prequel to man of steel.

I'm actually disappointed that the show isn't a prequel to man of steel. It should be a sequel to Lois & Clark! ![](http://i54.tinypic.com/rwjdxf.gif)
