pimpinainteasy what is your suspicion? what does her getting admission in the college mean? how is this connected to her message? That she's gonna make a career out of her father's death. Anyway, I've no right to complain. It's her personal tragedy and she can use it in any way she wants. themanwithnoshame What has him losing money got to do with his worldview anyway?Man, you missed my point. His worldview is the result of the social conditioning that has shrinked his critical faculties. He can't think independently and fails to consider all angles. This results in him making bad business decisions. Look at Kalyan. He's struggling too with his career or something. And I guess warriorspirit was too.

You do have a right to complain if she's using her tragedy as a barrier for criticism while she tries to manipulate the public.

Man, you missed my point. His worldview is the result of the social conditioning that has shrinked his critical faculties. He can't think independently and fails to consider all angles. This results in him making bad business decisions. Look at Kalyan. He's struggling too with his career or something. And I guess warriorspirit was too. I don't understand, why exactly you think I am not capable of looking at all sides of the story and your assumption that everyone who is a Modi is somehow a failure in life proves that it is your opinions that are narrow-minded. Well, I do agree I come to a judgement more times than not but that doesn't mean I don't consider all sides. More times than not I do than most people. Certainly more than most posters here, as much as it is hard to believe. Just yesterday pimpinainteasy was saying he was surprised about me saying something about anarchy and @manwithnoshame said I was being hypocritical without principles. The very fact that they are being surprised and accusing me of double standards prove that they don't anything about me. They rightly criticize me for my opinions but I don't post most of the times how I come to contradictory opinions and they simply can't understand all the angles I have considered to come to that opinion/judgement. They used to accuse me of being a "feminist" but at the same time accused me of misogyny when I said "its perfectly fine to not allow women into sabarimala". Sure I am struggling right now with my career. But let me tell you, I do know where I am going and that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Kal_1993 My apologies, Kalyan. I think you are a bright kid, but who often gets distracted with all this meaningless shit in life. This shit is a game, buddy. Both sides are playing it with equal crook. This game is designed to be run on the purpose that we carry in our heart. The game robs you of your purpose by sucking all the time, energy and focus out of it. And the catch is that the game wins no matter which side you choose. So, my humble suggestion is that don't waste your time on this shit. Focus on your big game. And I'm not asking you to stop reading society or to stop forming opinions. Do read and do form opinions. But remain a spectator. I wish you the best for your potential. As some Greek philosopher said (the origin of the quote is unknown, though it was made famous as the logo of the US army), Be all you can be.

Quick story: My father used to be a pretty secular guy back when I was a kid. We received sweets from Muslims during Ramazan and we did the same during Diwali. Now, after my mother died, all my father does is remain glued in his "smart" phone. Around 50 Mb of whatsapp images/gifs are present in his phone any time. And I've been noticing his social pattern lately - he now distrusts Muslims and considers them as disease. His worldview is now reduced to - either with Modi or against Modi. And anyone against Modi is an anti-nationalist. Hate to say it but he's become stupid. And it reflects in his business deals as well. Any venture he puts his money in, he loses the money. I'm not concerned about his worldview. I'm concerned about him losing his money. See my point?
@darkprofile
I have to admit that there was a time I was pretty anti-Muslim but in last few years I did realise my mistake. Facebook did help me realise that. I saw people endlessly posting religious things. Even I was doing that at one time. At one time I saw a Muslim girl who was as simple as cow also turned into a religion crazy person. That and the incidence in which a Muslim was killed by Hindu mob for eating beef. The fact is that people on fb, whatsapp pose as is it is a matter of time before their side will die forever and they show not even the slightest bit of respect for the people of other side. I could not keep up and agree with this kind of hate. I am not on fb anymore and belong to no group on whatsapp. For last one year and 3 months I have stopped posting anything anti-Muslim. I don't believe that fans of BJP/ Sangh Parivar have got it right. They use a lot of lies and exaggerations.

Funny, but I don't get what's causing such an outrage. The memes aren't really comparable to the original picture.

jeez! worst rendition of IMAGINE ever? What significance has the lyrics of the song got in the real world? The real world is still not choke full of pot smoking pacifist hippies. It never will be. Why does anybody even need to take them seriously?
