This is obviously of course if the MCU had the rights to the Fantastic Four characters, but it would have been cool to see them bring in Dr. Doom, especially in Black Panther because in the comics, Doom is the ruler of Latveria and they have a rivalry with Wakanda. Plus, Dr. Strange has already brought in magic and Dr. Doom is a sorcerer himself. Would be cool to see him in the MCU sometimes

Dr. Doom is a great villain, but MCU would make him weak like all their other villains (such as Ronan the Big Bad Destroyer, who was defeated by a silly Dance-Off).

Because this incarnation of Doctor Doom done by Fox:

...was such a great villain?

In a perfect world, seeing Black Panther fight Doctor Doom would be cool. But blame Fox for this not being a perfect world.

If Marvel managed to re-obtain the rights to the Skrulls, maybe they can work something out with Doom? I don't know, wishful thinking I guess. In any case, he's definitely not going to be in BP.

Would be cool to see him in the MCU sometimes I would say even if they had Doom rights, they need to wait until phase 4 to tackle it. It just strikes me as a swerve to introduce the idea that FF stuff can happen, right before you try to pay off everything that's been built up. The thing to do would be to bring that stuff in when the slate is clean and you can move in a different direction.

Wasn't that the reason that they used the Chitauri instead of the Skrulls for the first Avengers movie?

Because Fox was so successful the last two times they attempted to bring the character to the big screen. And you still think Ronan was defeated by a dance-off? For being a very literal fella that it very ironic.

Marvel sold the Dr. Doom movie rights to Fox because Marvel was going bankrupt. It's not Fox's fault that Marvel was managed so badly that it was going bankrupt and had to unload the Dr. Doom movie rights.
