It was 30 full seconds of Wonder Woman on screen and nothing else. I kind of felt like the WB execs were in the room with me narrating something along the lines of "we know you really really really thought Wonder Woman was the best thing we've done, and you can see her on screen, look there she is, on screen right now, and she's going to be in Justice League, so if you liked Wonder Woman, you should go see that".
Did anybody else get that when watching it?

Yes, because heaven knows there's no other reason to see it.

It makes sense since she is the darling of the critics right now.

Yes, because heaven knows there's no other reason to see it. Honestly, just speaking for myself, I have no reason to see it, and won't for quite some time if I see it at all. I might catch it on netflix but highly doubtful I'll see it before then.

It makes sense since she is the darling of the critics right now. It does make sense, it was just funny how long the intro with her was.

Why is that amusing? Using the favorite of the fans to lead off a trailer is the any logical way to go.
If you're saying it's shameless and blatant fan service, then I guess you loathed Captain America: Civil War and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

No, I find it amusing because it proves once and for all how damaging BvS was to Superman and Batman as a whole.

Yeah I did notice WW had a lot more screen time than the rest of the cast. But as Taylorfirst suggested, she is what's popular right now.

Well I know why they did it, so you don't need to explain that it's because she's popular, that's obvious. It's just funny that none of their other characters are an equal draw, mostly because they either haven't established them or they haven't worked.

I think it's more amusing that MCU has to put Iron Man in the beginning, middle, and end of a movie that's supposed to be about their flagship character, Spider-Man. And the move still flopped, dropping 63% in its 2nd weekend and dropping another 50% in its 3rd weekend. LOL!!!

If that is " flopping", then what do YOU call a movie with a studio's 2 most recognizable and supposedly " iconic " characters that drops 69% on it's 2nd weekend, and then 54% on it's 3rd, and then ends by just BARELY doubling it's opening weekend for it's final box office gross?

Prima facie: - Supes not appearing makes perfect sense (ignorantraptor does not understand why) - And Batman being damaged by BvS? Yeah, when Batfleck was cast: fan outcry galore, after the film premiered Batfleck was the most awesome thing about it....and they shoot new solo Bats films again.... Truly damaging as a whole indeed...to your intellectual credibility only.

Did anybody else get that when watching it? Not so much amusing, more understandable and predictable. She was the best thing about BvS, she is the subject of the best DCEU film so far, and the trailer is released while WW is still in the theatres. No surprise really. They are going to milk WW success as much as they can..as would most film companies. Wouldn't be surprised if she takes prominent place on the poster.

That's the amusing part actually, that she's the only leg they're standing on, and the trailer basically is a giant flashing sign saying they know it. For the first 30 seconds I honestly thought I was watching a WW sequel trailer.

It's not like you're actually gonna watch the film, why does it even matter to you?
