It's not like you're actually gonna watch the film, why does it even matter to you? I just thought it was amusing that's all. I do follow these things.

So what? The Avengers trailers were very Iron Man heavy. Of course you're going to feature your most popular character in the trailer! That's just common sense. And we also got plenty of the others so what's the problem?

Also, WW is a member of the Justice league. She's supposed to be there.
Now, Iron Man being featured heavily in the Homecoming trailers was something worthy of this sort of criticism because Iron Man is not supposed to be a huge part of the Spidey mythos. But I don't recall you calling that amusing.

It was 30 full seconds of Wonder Woman on screen and nothing else. I kind of felt like the WB execs were in the room with me narrating something along the lines of "we know you really really really thought Wonder Woman was the best thing we've done, and you can see her on screen, look there she is, on screen right now, and she's going to be in Justice League, so if you liked Wonder Woman, you should go see that".
Did anybody else get that when watching it? Just like the Marvel execs leverage RDJ and Iron Man in 3 out of their last 6 MCU films. It's nothing new.

It was just funny to see how quickly they latched on because most of their other stuff isn't working so well. I mean even Affleck is leaving again right, so they don't have a solid foundation and what they had was already on shaky ground.

Possibly, but that's beside the point. You can't mock the JL trailer for using WW but not say the same of the Spidey trailers for using Iron Man.

Yeah, it definitely popped out at me. I don't mind the concept of pushing it that way (it is just a trailer, after all) as long as they didn't change the actual narrative of the film to unnaturally bump up Wonder Woman's role. Considering, the extensive reshoots being done, it is certainly a possibility.
That being said, I'm not particularly looking forward to this film. As it stands, I view Wonder Woman as a fluke in the context of the DCEU. They'll have to make, at least, 2 more good movies for me to take the series seriously.

She's their ONE strength right now. There's nothing too amusing about it. They know how to use their strength...and it's her.

Did anybody else get that when watching it? The last SDCC trailer (2016) led with Bruce Wayne and featured Aquaman, Cyborg, and Flash if you can remember. Why not feature Wonder Woman next? It's a given that they are saving Superman for last.

I thought it's because he's "dead" lol, as if anybody bought that for a second. One of the primary reasons it was a terrible writing choice is that it was instantly the worst kept secret of all time.

Honestly, if it was as obvious as this is, then it wouldn't matter, but that just makes the point that Marvel wouldn't go through that sort of charade. Even "deaths" like Fury's weren't so obvious and certainly not so wasted.

The trailers couldn't spoil anything unless they did it during the Winter Soldier trailer itself. And I don't know why they'd do that.

It's funny you mention that because I don't watch more than the first trailer, but later trailers for that film did have additional lines for Fury in it, that he hadn't said by the time he "died" in the film. Now that's not necessarily a giveaway because as we all know trailers often have scenes that aren't in the film, but some people were suspicious. And THAT, is exactly why I don't watch the second and third trailers. Honestly I don't know why anybody does. They spoil way too much for my liking.
