I have been giving this a great deal thought.
Do I have to be at the dinner? That matters greatly.

Oscar Wilde, C.S.Lewis, JFK, Kurt Cobain, Leonardo DaVinci, Jesus, Cleopatra, Seneca, Jefferson, and JD Salinger.
It would be a hoot. I am sure Wilde would roast Jesus though… which wouldn't sit well with CS Lewis. While Kurt and JD would be sitting in the corner trying not to look at each others odd feet. DaVinci would be probably flirting with Cleopatra and Seneca and Jefferson debating over who is a bigger mental power house… I presume JFK would calm things down though. Before dessert would be served.

And just what culinary fare would you feature that would satisfy all these guests? I don't Ronald Reagan and Joan of Arc would have similar palettes. And Elizabeth I and Plato might be at odds, too.

You would obviously serve a buffet with many choices.
