Here's something you probably never noticed. George Michael was on a few different record labels, one of them being EMI. Now look closely at George's name.

Yes, I see it now. I think it's cute, but then again I also consider weasels and flintlock pistols to be cute.

Believe it or not, there are a number of other artists who have that quirky thing going on. Years and years ago there was a little piece in NME or Melody Maker that listed all the artists who have that going on. I wish I could remember them. I still try and come up with artists on labels with letters. RCA, IRS, RCA...can't come up with any other than George Michael on EMI. |
