Im starting to read the book now, of The Dark Tower and while I love Idris elba he isnt who I picture when I read it. Who would you have cast??

Considering the weathered look and piercing blue eyes described in the book and his age that's impossible to tell (anywhere between 50-200 years), I can't see how anyone couldn't immediatly think of Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen or Daniel Craig. Mortensen is definitely my pick.
