Well if anything it was certainly a lesson for me in which kinds of movies I want to avoid at all costs. But we all have different tastes. Ignorance is bliss. Ignorance?

I caught Requiem for a Dream one time near the end of it was it was WTF with the rapid editing and cutting to different stories. "Ass to ass!" "Mashed potatoes!" Don't do drugs. Just don't do them. It is a propaganda movie of sorts but it is brillaintly made and emotionally devastating. It perfectly captures the sadness and despair of the people who are addicted to heroine.

Ignorant to why these movies are often hailed as great. There are many bad movies that are bizarre, dark and depressing without actually addressing anything and those are the movies that get panned.

The worst movie I've ever seen was American Reunion. I did not laugh once at that raunchy for the sake of being raunchy "comedy". Five years later I still can't unsee it.

Almost Invisible (2010). I watched it for a horror challenge expecting a bad skin flick, but it was the most poorly edited, shot, acted anything I've ever seen. It makes Manos look like The Godfather.

Wow I admire your stamina to watch so many bad movies. I have seen some of them, unfortunately. Castle of Fu Manchu. Speaking of Christopher Lee are you up for the Keeper challenge? The Keeper 1976 starring Christopher Lee and Tell (father of Liev) Schreiber. Qualifications for ultimate bad status: a)It failed to get a theatrical release b)it failed to get a television release c) its Canadian I rate it the worst movie I have seen--worse than Hillbillies in a Haunted House. Worse than Dracula vs Frankenstein. Worse than the Lucifer Complex. The absolute pits. I have not seen nor heard of that film. Odd since Christopher Lee is one of my favorite actors. But I will most likely see it eventually.

Worst is kind of subjective so I'll go with the movies that I absolutely despised. 1. Requiem for a Dream 2. Being John Malkovich 3. AI artificial intelligence 4. Black Swan I didnt care for AI at all. Black Swan is very overrated. I didnt see what was so great about it.

I don't like the overly dark stuff to begin with as I mentioned previously. What I really cannot stand is dream sequences where you don't know what's real and what's not. AI was kind of a creepy movie that I wasn't entertained by at all.

It is worse than Howling 2, Starship Invasions, and Meatcleaver Massacre. In fact, the story goes that Lee was told NOT to make the film by his union but he missed the message. The problem with it is that it is bad without being so bad it is good. It is just bad. I chuckle at Liev Schreiber's bio on IMDB because it says: and his father, Tell Schreiber (Tell Carroll Schreiber III), is a theatrical actor who had a small role in The Keeper (1976) **SMALL role? He is the star! lol

There's a scene where Tell Schreiber is talking to "the Keeper" Christopher Lee (he has no name--just the Keeper) and he relates that his family had generations of incestuous relations and Lee has this "even I am creeped out by this" expression which doesn't look like he is acting.
Also there is a really annoying police chief--such a bad actor--and Tell asks him "have there been any murders at the asylum?" and the chief replies: "Yes, seven, but what troubles me is, what if these deaths were actually murders?"

That kind of reminds me of that bird movie with Micheal Keaton. Though I didn't hate that movie.

That kind of reminds me of that bird movie with Micheal Keaton. Though I didn't hate that movie. Well I can't agree with that. It is very clear to me which parts are real and which are dream (or just in her mind). I mean the movie is about a women losing her grip on her sanity so it perfectly makes sense in the movie. The same with the stuff in Birdman. I don't feel I have been duped at all. I find that type of storytelling endlessly fascinating. Funny how tastes are so different. I find that fascinating too. It's crazy how different people are from one another. To you these movies are nonsense. To me I'm like "wow, these movies know how I think and how I view life".
