There are others that come close like The Last Airbender or The Avengers (1998) or Batman&Robin. These are still in my top ten worst list but this one, this one right here just bothered me. It hit me in the right spot.  I like Master ofDisguise. It's exactly what u want. Dana Carvey doing his impression schticks, what more can u expect or need? |

That's a tough one. Idk about THEE worst but I have s list of movies ppl swear by but are shit.
- Lost in Translation.. sigh. I'm tired of explaining why this movie is so bad. It's not BAD per se. It's just stupid.
- Inherent Vice ..just s fucking mess of a film
-Swept Away
( I think we can all agree on this one )
- The Pink Panther remake with Steve Martin. ( they actually had the balls to make a sequel too?!)
- Home Alone. ( why was this so funny again? )
- Miami Vice. It's a big dark mess. Just a bunch of darkness and convoluted shit of a plot. It's also dark. Meaning you can't even see what the he'll is going on
- The Counselor. Smh. Shame on you Ridley. Shame.
-Alien Vs Predator Reqium. -terrible in every way. A stain on the genre.
-Grandma's Boy. I just don't think it's that funny. Ppl swear it is. I think I may have broken up with a chic who thought this was hilarious.

If you want to feel like all hope is gone, by all means, watch "Red Zone Cuba". My husband almost didn't make it through the MST3K version. I shudder to think about watching the real thing. Any film by Ed Wood seems like "Citizen Kane" in comparison.

In one category, Manos: The Hands of Fate. Certainly garbage, but it was made by a fertilizer salesman for $19,000 (or something like that), What did you expect, Ben-Hur? Tough to put any Grade Z monster films, like Monster a Go-go, Beast From Yucca Flats, crap like that. They were thrown together for Drive-ins and weekend matinees. So, I'd say, the worst real movie I've seen was Battlefield Earth. It had real actors, a budget and pretensions of being an actual movie. Instead, it was fecal material. Atrocious acting, no direction, no plot and more plot holes than a bum's underwear. Close 2nd in the John Wayne stinker The Conqueror. John Wayne as Genghis Khan. Yeah, great idea. "She is a woman - much woman. Should her perfidy be less than that of other women? ", nice dialogue, not at all corny.

The Disaster Movie (NOT The Disaster Artist) is definitely one of the worst movies I've seen. Home Alone 5 & The Last Airbender also come to mind.

About two hundred movies contend so hard for that honor, and about a thousand others seem so hard to try to, that it's obvious the true Hollywood formula is "make the American male as depressed and bored as possible".
So, the first tie breaker is "waste of resources, money, scenery, effects, talent, etc."
One can excuse the low budget movie for being low budget hate, but not something that abuses all the resources and power just to depress, deject, and bore the audience with hate preaching.
The very worst movie ever, at this time, I will accord to OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL, a movie no male could enjoy. Second worst is NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN. Third through tenth are;

ALL prints, dvd's, Blu Rays, VHS, and any outdated modes of recording need to be found and destroyed; and then the mind wipe thingy from Men In Black needs to be used to erase the entire planets memory of it.
In other words may the gods themselves come down and apocalyptically wipe it away from existence, and then kill themselves so they don't know about it either. |
